Opps there goes another.
NEW YORK – Scott McClellan, President Bush's former press secretary who angered old colleagues with a tell-all book earlier this year, said Thursday he is backing Barack Obama for president.
McClellan is the second former administration official to back the Democratic candidate this week. Former Secretary of State Colin Powell came out Sunday for Obama.
While Powell chose "Meet the Press" to make his news, McClellan did it at the taping of comedian D.L. Hughley's new talk show, which is premiering 10 p.m. Saturday on CNN.
Hughley found a little begging helped.
"We are a new show and your endorsement would probably mean a lot," Hughley said. "But don't look at the fact that I am black or, no pressure. Endorse somebody, damn it!"
McClellan, who was Bush's chief spokesman from July 2003 to April 2006, said he's always planned to support the candidate that has the best chance for changing the way Washington works and getting things done.
"I will be voting for Barack Obama," he said.
McClellan is also giving an extended interview on "Larry King Live" on Friday to talk about his endorsement.
McClellan grew disillusioned after leaving the administration and wrote a book, "What Happened: Inside the Bush White House and Washington's Culture of Deception," that surprised many for its blunt talk. He admitted to being part of a White House effort to shade the truth about the case for war in Iraq.
The White House said Bush was surprised and saddened about the book.
And if ya pay close attention, hes not even black, just so ya don't get him confused with with Powell. And ya know try to say its race related. Again.
think all these Republicans that are voting and supporting Obama, not McCaint, but Obama, ya know the Democrat, and not well their own dog know something you refuse to admit? I do.

As that it is someone who formerly worked for the biggest scumbag ever to walk into the Oval Office, I'd view it as a negative for Obama rather than a positive. Especially since this particular scumbag knew what was going on, and remained quiet until it was convenient to do otherwise. It appears Scottie's found the winner and is jumping ship looking for a job.

No great surprise, here. The man is a traitorous coward, as he had previously proven.

The sky is falling. THE SKY IS FALLING!!!!! No, no. No need to be concerned. Those aren't chunks of sky missing. That's just where the light of the politics of hope is shining through as the dark clouds of the politics of despair and oppression we've been laboring under are falling apart.

The man is a traitorous coward, as he had previously proven this shows where your loyalties lie...
it should be..america first....
not...
protect the bush no matter what the lie....
good men sometimes are pulled to the dark side because of their own greed and lust for power..
it takes a bigger man to forgive them when they see the error of their ways and try to make it right..
I doubt if Scott McClellan would do the same mistake twice...
no matter as I also doubt that Obama will give him anything in return for the endorsement... MeClellan is getting more from this..( in rebuilding his own self image and worth..) than Obama is..

My opinion..........I dont think it matters who backs him......they would only be backing him for their own alterior motives.........anyway. So it doelsnt matter who backs him. Even if the Pope backed him (if he were able to....LOL)......the same thing would apply...probably large donations going to the Vatican............

Excuse me Creat*, But Scott McClellan was highly praised as a choice for staff. Scott McClellan, has been in the show longer then you've been here on the U.S. soil, and much longer then as a citizen. So my beat is on that pony.
We've moved on from the Sedition Act of 1919. Its to speak out. No more 20 years hard labor sentence no not kissing the flag.
So how's McCain gonna plug this crack in 11 days? And I wonder who's next from the Republicans gonna come to the force?

Scott McClelland was always considered an outsider. His family is involved in TX politics and are Democrats. He is a moron and never had the respect of the media. He proved he was a moron when he went on tour for his book. How many copies did he sell? Less than Nancy Botox Pelosi!
He stabbed everyone that he was associated with in the back.
Now he has no choice but to fondle the sexual organs of liberal whack jobs like Keith Blabberman. No one else will have him on their show and NO ONE else takes him seriously.
Who cares who he is voting for. He was a Democrat and is a Democrat.

Bob Dole said it best - Of course coward liberals love to associate with scum like this
From Politico
Bob Dole unloads on McClellan
Bob Dole yesterday sent a scalding e-mail to Scott McClellan, excoriating the former White House spokesman as a "miserable creature" who greedily betrayed his former patron for a fast buck.
In an extraordinary message obtained and authenticated by Politico, Dole uses his trademark biting wit to portray McClellan as a classic Washington opportunist.
"There are miserable creatures like you in every administration who don’t have the guts to speak up or quit if there are disagreements with the boss or colleagues," Dole wrote in a message sent yesterday morning. "No, your type soaks up the benefits of power, revels in the limelight for years, then quits and, spurred on by greed, cashes in with a scathing critique."
Michael Marshall, Dole's spokesman and colleague at the Alston Bird law firm, confirms the message came from the former senator and presidential candidate. "Yes, it is authentic," Marshall wrote in an e-mail.
"In my nearly 36 years of public service I've known of a few like you," Dole writes, recounting his years representing Kansas in the House and Senate. "No doubt you will 'clean up' as the liberal anti-Bush press will promote your belated concerns with wild enthusiasm. When the money starts rolling in you should donate it to a worthy cause, something like, 'Biting The Hand That Fed Me.' Another thought is to weasel your way back into the White House if a Democrat is elected. That would provide a good set up for a second book deal in a few years"
Dole assures McClellan that he won't read the book — "because if all these awful things were happening, and perhaps some may have been, you should have spoken up publicly like a man, or quit your cushy, high-profile job."
"That would have taken integrity and courage but then you would have had credibility and your complaints could have been aired objectively," Dole concludes. "You’re a hot ticket now, but don’t you, deep down, feel like a total ingrate?"
He signs the email simply: "BOB DOLE"

Sometimes things like notoriety, money and status can bring people into very dark places in associations with very dark people Hopefully Scott has realized the error of his ways, and it has been a learning experience for him.
It says a lot about the corruption within this administration, when a central insider, a white house spokes person, can denounce them as liars and manipulators. If anyone would know about the criminal contempt these renegades have expressed towards the American people and our constitution, someone in Scott’s previous job position would.

JOKE?
What did he disclose?
Nothing.
Only whack jobs like Blabberman cared what he said.
He will never get a good job in politics again as he cannot be trusted.
I am sure MSNBC promised him something. Too bad that they will likely be shut down soon as their entire division is losing a fortune.
So is GE

If you are a politician mired in lies and secrets, you probably wouldn’t be interested in Scott for a job position because he has exposed someone like you in the past.
I consider Scott’s situation similar to that of a corporate whistle blower. To the corporation you exposed you are pond scum, but to everyone that values exposing wrongdoing to the light of day, you are redeemed.
