Well most of them, there is Will Durst, the house comedian. And the few that don't want to play the game. their pony is to far behind.
Start packing Obama, its a hell of a move.

I thought there was supposed to be a journalistic ethic's call here where the media was not allowed to make premature projections for any particular candidate so that voters would not be swayed either way by the findings prior to the outcome. Oh well what the hell am I talking about when we speak of journalism and ethics in the same sentence. The media has just about elected the empty suit for the empty headed masses already.

Blond, if it was anyone else running on the same platform for the Democratic candidate, would you hate the candidate nearly as much as you seem to hate Obama? Just curious...

I thought there was supposed to be a journalistic ethic's call here where the media was not allowed to make premature projections for any particular candidate so that voters would not be swayed either way by the findings prior to the outcome. Huh? While the networks have abandoned exit polling in presidential and other elections, that is not the case here. This does not preclude the endorsement of candidates by the op-ed pages of magazines and newspapers, by the way.
Secondly, Norm Ornstein is not a journalist.

With the mess the next president is going to inherit from the Bush administration, I'm amazed they even want to get into office with what they're inheriting.
A blast from the past - what Bush inherited...words can't begin to describe the contempt I feel for that man. Just for the record, these were his deficits:
2002 158 billion 2003 378 billion 2004 413 billion 2005 318 billion 2006 248 billion (Democratic congress from here on) 2007 162 billion 2008 455 billion (fiscal year ends in October, so the unspent 700 billion will post to next year's president)
To those who say the war in Iraq hasn't cost us a trillion yet, where did it go then? We've added about two trillion to the national debt in principal, then tack on the interest, which we're borrowing to pay. Anybody here ever balanced a budget?
And here's the promised blast:
September 27, 2000 Web posted at: 4:51 p.m. EDT (2051 GMT)
WASHINGTON (CNN) -- President Clinton announced Wednesday that the federal budget surplus for fiscal year 2000 amounted to at least $230 billion, making it the largest in U.S. history and topping last year's record surplus of $122.7 billion. "Eight years ago, our future was at risk," Clinton said Wednesday morning. "Economic growth was low, unemployment was high, interest rates were high, the federal debt had quadrupled in the previous 12 years. When Vice President Gore and I took office, the budget deficit was $290 billion, and it was projected this year the budget deficit would be $455 billion."
President Clinton announces that the federal budget surplus for fiscal year 2000 is the largest in U.S. history Instead, the president explained, the $5.7 trillion national debt has been reduced by $360 billion in the last three years -- $223 billion this year alone.
This represents, Clinton said, "the largest one-year debt reduction in the history of the United States."

Oh puhleeze...Clinton cheated on his wife, so have a pretty considerable number of presidents, and even presidential hopefuls like John McCain. She may not have been in the Hanoi Hilton, but she did go through 17 surgeries, a lot more than he did. But that's okay, he's a republican so he has to be a model of moral rectitude.
While he was imprisoned, Carol was in an auto wreck (1969), thrown through her car's windshield and left seriously injured. Despite her injures, she refused to allow her POW husband to be notified about her condition, fearing that such news would not be good for him while he was being held prisoner.
When McCain returned to the United States in 1973 after more than five years as a prisoner of war, he found his wife was a different person. The accident "left her 4 inches shorter and on crutches, and she had gained a good deal of weight."
Yearning to make the grade of admiral, McCain enrolled in the National War College at Fort McNair in Washington, D.C. and underwent physical therapy in order to fly again. The Navy excused his permanent disabilities and reinstated him to flight status, effectively positioning him for promotion.
In his book, The Nightingale's Song, Robert Timberg chronicled McCain's post-Vietnam military assignments and some of his "adulterous" behavior leading to his divorce from Carol and marriage to Cindy Hensley.
Timberg wrote, "in the fall of 1974, McCain was transferred to Jacksonville as the executive officer of Replacement Air Group 174, the long-sought flying billet at last a reality. A few months later, he assumed command of the RAG, which trained pilots and crews for carrier deployments. The assignment was controversial, some calling it favoritism, a sop to the famous son of a famous father and grandfather [both were Navy admirals], since he had not first commanded a squadron, the usual career path."
While Executive Officer and later as Squadron Commander McCain used his authority to arrange frequent flights that allowed him to carouse with subordinates and "engage in extra-marital affairs." Such behavior was a violation of the Uniform Code of Military Justice rules against adultery and fraternization with subordinates..
Timberg wrote, "Off duty, usually on routine cross-country flights to Yuma and El Centro, John started carousing and running around with women. To make matters worse, some of the women with whom he was linked by rumor were subordinates . . . At the time the rumors were so widespread that, true or not, they became part of McCain's persona, impossible not to take note of."

i always have to laugh when people like to point out what a good man Clinton was ...... I didn't see that Heaven pointed out what a good MAN Clinton was. I saw where she pointed out how good his administration was for this country. And what a disaster the bush administration has been, based largely on policy decisions that McCain largely agrees with and has professed to planning to continue.

OH My God we have allllll gone hungry and the world has gone to helI since Bush was elected Never said that either. Didn't say it here, but what I've said about the debt for quite awhile is that someone's going to have to pick up the tab. If it's not us, it will be our kids and grandkids. They're the ones who are going to have some rough sledding because of Bush's sleighride.
I never said that Obama's the messiah either, only that I have a glimmer of hope that he'll actually do something other than cut taxes and hope for the best, whereas with McCain I have no hope of his doing anything other than try to build nuclear power plants - NIMBY.
I'll take tax and spend over borrow and spend...at least you don't have the half trillion (this year - next year will be a lot more) interest to pay.

A new poll suggests that President Bush is the most unpopular president in modern American history.
The Republicans can sure pick winners.
The sad but true fact is many obviously haven't became any smarter even after enduring 8 years of the current Republican agenda. On November 5th maybe they will then wake up.
But for the Republicans there is a glimmer of hope "Even a three legged dog can once in a while win a race".
