What's your impression about Obama's 30-minute-informercial? How's that sit with you? is this going to have an effect on how you'll cast your vote?

gotta tell ya, it was kind of emotional, tearful and inspirational watching it. no kidding, the end reduced me to tears - tears of joy, laughter, happiness, sadness, empathy, hope you name it.
In a nutshell, the informercial came and sat on my laps

I loved it. In fact, I bought the absizer as well as the ginsu knife.
Thought he was going to blow it when that gal bent over in front of him while he was dong the demo on the floor.

And ya know even if one could vote right here, on this thread, right now. Your vote STILL wouldn't count.
What got me most is how similar the stories told by the every day people in his wrap up ad. I have heard these similar stories from a lot of people over the last eight years.
Obama really showed how connected and in touch he is with the grass roots of American society. All I hear from McCain is hes anger, but never once has he been able to tell us why the middle class was angry until AFTER Obama laid it out for him.
i was reading and article earlier how Sara claims Obama was short in specifics. Basically it went to fast for her to jot down notes to rip off ideas and claim them as her own. All under the umbrella of job creation and renewable energy.
The was no skipped stones or tongue ties when Obama speaks. Sure he may have some help with scripts and speech writers, but at lease he thinks before he spoke. And my very fav. ZERO personal attacks against Palin or McCain. Stuck with the facts. I respect that. That gets me to open both of my ears til ones done speaking. Respect.

Ah yes it would as I paid money to this site so, mine would and yours would not. I mean, as long as we are talking 'ifs' and this being a capitalistic site and you contributing nothing the owners would obviously shitcan your vote and take mine in a heartbeat.
Now, as a further demonstration of your intelligence level we move on to the actual ad the thread is discussing;

Enough of this. Nova can comment and post just the same as you. Well, not really the same. His posts are intelligent, educated, well written and usually make ton of sense.
I didn't see you objecting when Kaos posted a thing or two. She's also Canadian. Try and tell her to buzz off. If you dare.

I didn't watch it so I can't comment on it.
However, I do want to point out that DW is correct in saying that this is available of anyone to post and give their views.
Some may post nonsense, and others are intelligent and articulate, but we all have the right to give our views.....or even just be stupid at times.
