3) Give a good idea of what your post is about. Try to be specific and detailed as possible in your post. Threads that are obscure, do not have a specific topic, and do not contain enough information for readers to respond will be deleted. The Meaningless Rant section is two internet addresses down the hall.

If McCain loses, he should.... put a lot of distance between himself and Palin, and stay active in his state, or help Obama.
I understood ya Wills.

If he (mcCain) loses he will keep doing what he has always done... which is PUBLIC SERVICE.
If Obama wins lets hope he doesn't do what he has always done.. win (the election) and decide its time to move on to bigger things.
for sure Obama is going to be making a lot of changes from his campaign ideas.... the ideas and speeches he used to get people to vote for him... which have no basis in reality ( Robin hood and other fairy tales mentality) The poor will remain poor and the rich will move out of the USA....
all that will be left is for who ever stays to turn on each other.
I am just going to quietly put in the rest of my 6 years, 9 months and retire ( with my pension) to a mountaintop ski resort... sell handmade jewlery to tourists ( tax free) during the ski season.... relax, fish and watch all the fighting of the flatlanders... on TV

If McCain loses, he should.... thereby neatly avoid taking Bush' trash out - and avoid being trashed himself for doing so, forever.
While the 2-term diner slips out without paying the tab...

some threads are not meant for everyone to take part in. if you don't understand what a thread says, try not to hit the reply button or why not simply move on to others.
by the way, are we now bantering with kids or what?

While the 2-term diner slips out without paying the tab... Hasn't that been the story of the Champagne Squadron boy's life? Playing war games with real people, but I'll never believe that he sees them as real, only as his toy soldiers.
If anyone makes my skin crawl, he does.
OK, back on topic, sorry -
If McCain loses, he should complete his senate term, enjoy his life and maybe study up on economics.

I am 55, and still working, and will most likely be working until I turn 65-70. No wonder you don't like Obama..

While I would wish that would happen, I somehow cannot see McCain offering Obama a cabinet post, although Obama has already said he would want McCain in his cabinet.

If McCain loses: I dont care what he does unless he quits then the world will be better for it. I mean the guy has always been a hack and will not change this late in the game.

If McCain loses, he should ( clear enough to me) Take the next 6 months off and find himself again. He has clearly lost his prospective and weakened his resolve against the pandering. Lost his image over this the most. I agree, distance himself from the Palins, Bushes and Cheneys, of the republican party. Stay active in politics and give it one more run after hes had these next four years gettin back his true Mac. Praise the good that comes from Obama's presidency, speak out against the bad. Speak out. Not slander mudslinging or name calling. No one ever wins when they pander through the low road. Try again in 2012.

sad but true burns. if McCain ran as the McCain we used to know, he wouldn't find himself in this present position. McCain is a fine, smart and repectable politician but he affilited himself with the wrong crowd

...If McCain loses, he should abandon his 20 years of "no pork" and jump in with the Dems, with both feet and bring a few $Billion to his Arizona... while there is still something left in the future to "pork" with.
...It will be a feeding frenzy with the newfound taxes on everything from coal, to social security recipients above a poverty rate; which the consumer, the actual taxpayer will further finance into eternity... or however long this nation survives.
...I cannot see McCain joining Obama's cabinet, as riding a sinking ship is not a great last testimonial to his long standing service to his country. If Obama already has all the answers, why would he state that he would want McCain in his cabinet?
...Regardless, accepting chicken bones from the ghetto is not McCain's style.

LOL SG. Positive as usual.
.I cannot see McCain joining Obama's cabinet, as riding a sinking ship is not a great last testimonial to his long standing service to his country. If Obama already has all the answers, why would he state that he would want McCain in his cabinet? I agree I don't see him joining the Obama cabinet. Just switching sides to the Democratic. Like a lot of the republicans have done this past year. As for the sinking ship, he stayed on his campaign trail to the very end.
Regardless, accepting chicken bones from the ghetto is not McCain's style. Nor was crap line like that. he tried it, and it cost him the win.
