Actually, mine of vinny were that high.. If it had gone the other way, I would have listened to McCain's speech.. and cheered him as loudly as I would have Obama.. this is about this country, and both Senator McCain and President-Elect Obama understand that, and both know that it will take all of us working together to fix the mess we are in as a nation.. every single one of us.. I believe in, and have faith in, America.. all of America..

then I guess McCain is a more gracious person then you could hope to be.. huh? He's gracious as he has to be. I don't. So I can say exactly what's on my mind. Which I'm happy to do.

I can go back to my old wonderful loving and understanding of people self. That's a joke, right?
Unfortunately in the past few weeks you have shown just what you are. There is no going back. Sorry.

You know, I thought McCain gave a very good speech. What I wonder is, why aren't those here that supported him, being as respectful and gracious as he is? There had to be a winner and there had to be a loser. It's been decided. Wouldn't you, as a country, now want to come together and work together?
I've watched your country go through all of this - and I can only say, that from where I sit - I hope you can all put aside your differences and work together to make your country a better America for all of you, and for all of us that have ties and good relations with you and want to continue to do so.
Change is a scary thing, but better to embrace it then fight it. Godspeed America.

Keep in mind, America isn't a liberal country. It's far more conservative than the vast majority of Western democracies. This action, electing someone as far "left" as Obama (i.e. mildly leftist in the terminology of most Western democracies), is completely atypical.
The reason for this? The neo-con politicians and electorate screwed up. Badly. Horrendously. They were such a bad example that the moderate majority flailed around to find someone, ANYONE, who offered a change from the failed policies of the last eight years.
So before gloating, oh neo-cons, remember who voted in the ultra-right extremists. Remember, oh neo-cons, that you left the rest of us with no better choice than Obama. Because so many couldn't see how anyone could be worse than Bush & company...

That will take all of us working together to achieve that, and I don't know if everyone will be able and willing to do that.

Don't forget they have that universal health care, and ketch up, as well as lax weed laws.
Anyone hear anything on the senate race. I can't find anything on it.
