Kaos: Change is a scary thing, but better to embrace it then fight it. ...It would depend on which direction change happens; not all change is good, nor can the past voting records, associations and participations of Obama be anything to conclude as optimistic for the country.
===========
Burns: A freedom of speech is every ones god given right in this country. ...BS! ... God never gave that right... men and women fought and died for it, as well as to retain it.
...And now Burns, your Obama will need you in Africa and Pakistan next year to defend that freedom of speech you retain.
...So, we can expect you to do your part and volunteer when?

No the men and women that died under the banner of In God we Trust did. Blood for blood works in my books, since this is the land of the free and all, my book counts.
Funny you mention that, For I actively keep up on this. Since I would love to take the place of some 18 year old in my spot.
Seeing that I am 35 I still have time to enlist, yet that mean I would have to release my rights to my son, which I wont do. Not for you, not for your family, not for your neighbors nor mine. And now SG.. save it.

...It would depend on which direction change happens; not all change is good, nor can the past voting records, associations and participations of Obama be anything to conclude as optimistic for the country. I agree about the direction of change, but if people are already predicting bad change and doom, what chance do you all have to make things better in your country? As I see it, very little. The man has won the election. He is now YOUR PRESIDENT. Do you all still believe in "Ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country?" Seems a time to stand united, not a time to divide.

Give it up KAOS, you're wasting your time. America took a backseat to partyline politics a long time ago.

Funny you mention that, For I actively keep up on this. Since I would love to take the place of some 18 year old in my spot.
FORT KNOX, Ky. (Army News Service, June 22, 2006) – The Army has raised the enlistment age to 42, made possible under provisions of the Fiscal Year 2006 National Defense Authorization Act.
The Army raised the active-duty age limit to 40 in January as an interim step while it worked out the additional medical screening requirements for recruits ages 40 to 42. Before January, an applicant could not have reached his or her 35th birthday. The Army Reserve age limit was raised from 35 to 40 in March 2005.
Raising the maximum age for Army enlistment expands the recruiting pool, provides motivated individuals an opportunity to serve and strengthens the readiness of Army units. More than 1,000 men and women over age 35 have already enlisted since the Army and Army Reserve raised their age limits to age 40.
“Experience has shown that older recruits who can meet the physical demands of Army service generally make excellent Soldiers. They are mature, motivated, loyal and patriotic, and bring with them a wealth of skills and experience to our Army,” said Col. Donald Bartholomew, U.S. Army Recruiting Command Assistant Chief of Staff, G5.

It's not that hard once you break it down KAOS. Republicans want power. Democrats want power. If one succeeds, it diminishes the power the other has. So both sides spend most of their time making sure the other doesn't succeed

Again nice effort. No gains Nah. So the recruiter flubbed to me. And no where does it say anything about taking single parents. The whole story Nah, not just the limit of cut and paste.
So both sides spend most of their time making sure the other doesn't succeed
Used to. I don't believe this any more Kjac, or all then supporters that broke records tonight and republicans that switched sides wouldn't have shown.

When I went in burns, a single parent couldn't join without releasing custody of their child. but that was a long time ago. I don't know what the current policy is.

Seems rather self destructing to me.

Kjac, youre correct. this is just another silly gotta try and challenge someone, swear their child's life on it game of nah.
And Nah, sure ya did, and they most likely had to sign over their rights to their children. I don't have that option, nor would I if I could. To me family first, then duty. You may be the other way, and that's ok. Yet it doesn't make me less of a person then you so wettly wish you could make me out to be.
