I wonder if poor old shrub is lying awake nights worrying about his "legacy." (Actually, although I consider this "self-inflicted," I kinda feel sorry for the guy. Must be hard to face the fact that 75% of the country thinks you're dead wrong.)

Just so you know why Barak Obama was elected!
This election wasn't JUST about Bush. It was about the neo-con policies as a whole. Remember, the Democrats took 58% of the House, when every seat was up for re-election. And they control 57-58% of the Senate, as well, after making big gains in 2006.
People are getting tired of extreme right-wingers. Unfortunately, the only other choice seems to be extreme left-wingers. *sigh*

Obama thinks he is a good talker, but he is often undisciplined when he speaks. He needs to understand that as President, his words will be scrutinized and will have impact whether he intends it or not. In this regard, President Bush is an excellent model; Obama should take a lesson from his example. Bush never gets sloppy when he is speaking publicly. He chooses his words with care and precision, which is why his style sometimes seems halting. In the eight years he has been President, it is remarkable how few gaffes or verbal blunders he has committed. If Obama doesn't raise his standards, he will exceed Bush's total before he is inaugurated.
Can you believe this guy actually gets paid to write this stuff? But getting paid for ignorant views is a Repug virtue.....

Kejacks....You will always find individuals that just can't stand the truth. So, they make their own as they go along! That is why one must always research and punch holes in those lies! Always contradict those distortions if not others will read their stuff and believe it as true! One just can not allow that to take place!
As far as Bush is concerned, he is the main reason along with a solid republican majority for 6 years in both houses of Congress, the country finds itself wallowing in the worse debt in our history. Instead of paying our way Bush has given billions away to corporations that needed no money whatsoever! And no one said a word!
And now today 53 trillion dollars later we have our backs to the wall!

Truman's approval numbers were pretty dismal just before Ike was elected.
Today he's St. Harry, patron saint of amazing election turn-arounds in the Democrat Pantheon.

The only thing that will help George "Dumbya" Bush will be the "Historical Revisionist"! 
Historical Revisionists are republicans writing skewed, distorted and out right lies to improve Bush's stature! It will take later historians a while to sort through those to get at the truth!
That is not to say Democrats don't have their own Historical Revisionists as well! I do find the republicans rely on these liars a lot more than do Democrats! Because republicans have to!
