He'll be remembered as the worst president in history. For about 20 years anyway, until America forgets their mistakes again and elects another horrible human being to then be known as the worst president in history.

But don't take my word for it. Just ask Jimmy Carter.

He will be remembered as one of the most unique presidents this country has ever had and about that war were in? Those that dont understand the reasons for why we are in it in my opinion are most likely the same that would blame Bush if he had done the same as our previous president had done...nothing, when they finally understand in the future why it was done.

And would that crumbling be because of the residue of neo-con ineptitude? Or because of the mythological future failures of the Obama administration?

General Powell said this:

THE former American secretary of state Colin Powell has revealed that he spent 2½ hours vainly trying to persuade President George W Bush not to invade Iraq and believes today’s conflict cannot be resolved by US forces.

“I tried to avoid this war,” Powell said at the Aspen Ideas Festival in Colorado. “I took him through the consequences of going into an Arab country and becoming the occupiers.”

Powell has become increasingly outspoken about the level of violence in Iraq, which he believes is in a state of civil war. “The civil war will ultimately be resolved by a test of arms,” he said. “It’s not going to be pretty to watch, but I don’t know any way to avoid it. It is happening now.”

He added: “It is not a civil war

You know what else ?

When President Obama doesn't fall on his face like so many are predicting, I'd like to see some people admit they were wrong this time. You, know like all those who said he wouldn't be elected, and have been saying all those other things about him that turned out not to be true. And why not let some of this neo-con bullshit goand hope that our President does well by our country for once ? You know, for the better of America.

President Bush will be most remembered for keeping this country free from terrorist attacks for the entire 7 year remainder of his administration after 9/11, a spectacular accomplishment.

His strategy of taking the fight to the heartland of Islamic terrorism in the Middle East instead of waiting to be struck again will be seen as one of the most insightful and effective efforts in the interest of national defense in the nation‘s history.

He especially kept the country free from elephant attacks... 200+ years and counting, woot!

He'll also be the president that will be remembered as having ignored the terrorism experts for nine months, because they were Clinton staffers.

What do you think Afghanistan was? THAT was taking the fight to the enemy. Iraq wasn't the enemy, and all it did was dilute our forces, allow other rogue nations to gain confidence, and let the al Qaeda leadership escape and the Taliban to regroup.

History will remember that the country under President Clinton, after having been repeatedly struck with terrorism throughout his term -- including the first attempt to bring down the World Trade Center in 1993 -- failed to take effective action to stop the terrorist attacks. This allowed the terrorists to mount increasingly more deadly attacks which culminated in the attack on 9/11.

It wasn’t until President Bush became Commander in Chief that an effective strategy was implemented that halted the long reign of Islamic terrorism, a monumental accomplishment that most were saying could never be done..

What do you mean? He has a record as good as Bush's. He kept the country safe from terrorist attacks for about eight years, and had a very good intelligence network to track them.

It was Bush who threw out all the intelligence data as being tainted by the Clintons. It was Bush who gave the cold shoulder to the terrorism experts for nine months after he was inaugurated. It was Bush who, when given the chance to finish off the biggest and most successful terrorist group, decided to play 19th-century imperialist.

You can't blame Clinton for Bush's failures.

Well, you can. Just don't expect to be taken seriously by the moderate majority.

I think Bush and Cheney will be remembered very well! Because they allowed our country to be hit with the biggest terrorist attack ever!

Repeatedly they were warned that Al Queda was going to do something with airplanes. Yet, Bush only wanted to know how he could get at Saddam! Nothing else was on his mind!

Then Bush and his whole administration lied in order to start the war with Iraq! They distorted, skewed and planted false information to stir up a war sentiment in our country!

For that....he should be fully investigated...indicted, tried and convicted!

No one is blaming him for Bush's failures.....each has his own destiny to answer for. But I am damn sick and tired of you from the Left, trying to turn every little thing that has gone wrong as being, wholely and solely, the fault of the Right. Get out of that tunnel vision mode that seems to be your only focus and maybe your political party wouldn't be so disliked or mistrusted.
