Why not?
He's already picked the rest of the Clinton Circus to be back in the White House with him. All the leftover baggage from the Clinton days, and the same old, same old is back to haunt us. What a disappointing drag from the guy whose whole campaign was supposedly about bringing about “change.”
But I suppose it beats having Obama's shady personal buddies running the show...at least I think so. Secretary Of Defense is still open I think. Is it too late to appoint William Ayers?
Have you noticed that the Clintons are ALREADY undermining Obama?
One thing the Obama campaign did very well was keep secrets. For two years there wasn’t a single leak out of his show. Now, when the Clintons are allowed inside, there is a leak coming out every five minutes! It’s a classic Clinton tactic with their fingerprints all over it.
I think Obama is nuts for picking so many Clinton retreads to man his Cabinet (not to mention one of the Clinton twins themselves). This isn't the 1860s and he is no Abraham Lincoln. What is he thinking!

I tend to agree that I don't understand the theme of "change" when all these people are showing up again ....

If they do their job-who cares. THAT should be everyone's interest, not party, nor who they worked for in the past. Just fix this country. Thank you George.

My point is that, during the campaign, he kept talking about change, new ideas, new approaches, new solutions, new directions, etc. .... so by bringing back many people, it makes you wonder what will really be new? I hope they are the right picks and they do their jobs well, and as long as things get better, that's great ... all I'm saying is that I don't get the correlation with "change" ....

change as compared to the past 8 years...
these are new times.. but the smart democratic people should not be discarded ....just because you dislike the clinton era...
bottom line is... that... Obama is not Clinton...
and he needs smart capable people to help him change things for the better....
in this case..attack the selections if you must .. but just because they served under clinton is not a factor....

He’s even screwing his own voters!
Liberals didn’t pick him over Clinton for nothing. Now it’s another Clinton administration and Obama will be nothing but an appendage. He can’t control the Clintons. They’ll use him like a cheap hooker.
It’s the Clinton’s final revenge on Obama (and on the country).

Hmmm...nobody here has had a new thought or change in attitude in eight years??
I think a lot of us have seen a great deal of what works and what doesn't work...and somehow I doubt that even Bill Clinton would do everything the same way he did it then...even Monica...
Change doesn't have to come from bringing in new faces, but change tempered with experience? I don't see anything at all wrong with that.
Of course, Dubya didn't bring anyone in from his father's administration, did he? He did bring change though, 5 trillion bucks worth.

George didn't break it. Dems did and are still breaking it now. Those people didn't do their jobs before other than to line their pockets at our expense and give away what hard working people have done with their time to lazy people that won't get up for anything but a check. Since their performance what less than desirable before why should anyone think they will be on point now.
Just blame George when this buffoons do an instant replay for ya.
Burns if you think ya boy there is so on point then why didn't he say squat about being called the house n****r?

GM is in the mess they are in because their credit source dried up due to the mess that AIG was in..due to the mess that ....ah hell ...wiki says it better...
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Economic_crisis_of_2008#Causes_of_the_crisesCauses of the crises On October 15, 2008, Anthony Faiola, Ellen Nakashima, and Jill Drew wrote a lengthy article in the Washington Post titled, "What Went Wrong".[163] In their investigation, the authors claim that former Federal Reserve Board Chairman Alan Greenspan, Treasury Secretary Robert Rubin, and SEC Chairman Arthur Levitt vehemently opposed any regulation of financial instruments known as derivatives. They further claim that Greenspan actively sought to undermine the office of the Commodity Futures Trading Commission, specifically under the leadership of Brooksley E. Born, when the Commission sought to initiate regulation of derivatives. Ultimately, it was the collapse of a specific kind of derivative, the mortgage-backed security, that triggered the economic crises of 2008. On October 17, 2008, attorney Timothy D. Naegele, wrote an article in the American Banker entitled, "Greenspan's Fingerprints All Over Enduring Mess," which argues that Alan Greenspan's actions and inactions triggered the economic crises of 2008. The article discusses the economic tsunami that has been rolling worldwide with devastating effects; and the author asserts that Greenspan is the architect of the enormous economic "bubble" that burst globally. The author cites Giulio Tremonti, Italy's Minister of Economy and Finance, who said: "Greenspan was considered a master. Now we must ask ourselves whether he is not, after [Osama] bin Laden, the man who hurt America the most."[164] While Greenspan's role as Chairman of the Federal Reserve has been widely discussed (the main point of controversy remains the lowering of Federal funds rate at only 1% for more than a year which, according to the Austrian School of economics, allowed huge amounts of "easy" credit-based money to be injected into the financial system and thus create an unsustainable economic boom[165][166]), there is also the argument that Greenspan actions in the years 2002-2004 were actually motivated by the need to take the U.S. economy out of the early 2000s recession caused by the bursting of dot-com bubble - although by doing so he did not help avert the crisis, but only postpone it.[167][168] Many libertarians, including Congressman and former 2008 Presidential candidate Ron Paul[169] and Peter Schiff in his book Crash Proof, predicted the crisis prior to its occurrence. They are critical of theories that the free market caused the crisis[170] and instead argue that the Federal Reserve's printing of money out of thin air and the Community Reinvestment Act are the primary causes of the crisis.[171] However Alan Greenspan himself has conceded he was partially wrong to oppose regulation of the markets, and expressed "shocked disbelief" as the failure of the self interest of the markets, which according to neo-liberal economic theory should have protected shareholder equity.[172] It has also been argued that the root cause of the crisis is overproduction of goods caused by globalization.[173] Professor Herman Daly suggests that it is not actually an economic crisis, but a crisis of overgrowth beyond sustainable ecological limits.[174

Seal:Talk about sore losing. George didn't break it. Dems did and are still breaking it now. Time out, reality check,Consider what President Bush has deflected responsibility for:
Vast numbers of Americans believing that Saddam Hussein was responsible for 9/11 Americans believing that Saddam Hussein was supporting Al Qaeda Large numbers of civilian casualties and deaths in Iraq Hidden CIA prisons The atrocities at Abu Ghraib The huge US debt The bungled federal response to Hurricane Katrina Enron "mission accomplished" "the insurgency is in it's final throes" "stay the course" "the smoking gun will be a mushroom cloud" …the list goes on and on…
