Fox News’ Hannity losing his liberal half
Alan Colmes leaving cable channel's prime-time show after 12 years

NEW YORK - Fox News Channel's Sean Hannity is losing his liberal half.
Alan Colmes of the network's "Hannity & Colmes" said on his Web site Monday that he'll be leaving the prime-time show after 12 years. He said he approached a network executive earlier this year about doing something else.
Colmes will continue as a liberal commentator on Fox programs, keep doing his own radio show and is developing a weekend show at Fox News.
There was no immediate word about whether he will be replaced on the popular prime-time program. Hannity has been the bigger star in media circles and recently signed a contract extension. Hannity also does his own solo weekend show at Fox.

Colmes is an idiot. He is a whining driveling wimp. Hannity has many liberal friends that are regular guests on his program. They are much better qualified to take the liberal position without slobbering and whining like a 10 year old girl.

Well, there are many in these posts that think Hannity is an idiot. They seem do have a much firmer grasp on the issues than he does. Perhaps they could convince Fox that they could fill the vacant position, show the world how dumb Hannity is, and start pulling down that fat pay check. The obvious imminent ownage of Hannity would make for great TV drama.

Well, there are many in these posts that think Hannity is an idiot.
Well I guess you dont watch his show.
He ha plenty of regular guests who are liberal commentators - such as
Bob Beckel
Kirsten Powers
Susan Estrich
These three Democrats are good friends of his and much more intelligent and sensible than Alam Colmes.

Actually, any of the Als (Sharpton, Gore, or Franken) would be an entertaining foil for Hannity.
Rev. Sharpton would bring a sharper intellect to the table, however.

I never really cared for the show. It was really dull..Hannity always had to have the last word. And Combs never had anything to add, very timid person..so I dont see it being missed, between the two.
Years ago Hannity had one of his first shows in Huntsville Alabama,it was perfect for him ..and all the conservatives
I never got the Fair and Balance..from Fox programming  And the other networks are worse !!

Guys like Hannity are on their way out the door! Their brand of hatred and divisiveness has run its course. Yes, there will still be idiots that will listen to them. But, their ability to have an effect on national politics is ending!

You could be right.
Of course, the easist way to tell, will be the ability of these types to remain solvent. After all, they are not in the politics business, they are in the broadcasting business. Ratings will determine their fate.
Now, I do beleive that some of the more recognized guys in this business, with right leanings, had their ratings went down under Bush, after they soared under Clinton.
We shall see.
