The Communist Revolution has finally made its way to the USA.
Chairman Elect Obama announced a massive new “public works“ spending program today to put people to work for the party.
All private land is to be turned over to the party and rice paddys will be planted to grow rice to be used as green fuel to be required in all moving vehicles under penalty of death.
Little red books were seen dropping from airplanes all over the New People’s Republic (formerly The United States of America) today.
The party news agency reports that an unidentified voice was heard echoing through the Rocky Mountains yelling ... Wolverines!

Let's take a look at Obama's real dream plan here:
Obama vows public works on vast scale Saturday, December 6, 2008
WASHINGTON -- President-elect Barack Obama on Saturday promised the largest public works construction program since the creation of the interstate highway system a half-century ago as he seeks to put together a plan to resuscitate the reeling economy.
With unemployment on the rise and no end to the recession in sight, Obama began highlighting elements of the economic recovery program he is trying to fashion with congressional leaders in hopes of being able to enact it shortly after being sworn in on Jan. 20.
Obama's remarks sought to expand the definition of traditional work programs for the middle class, like infrastructure projects to repair roads and bridges, while also pushing a federal effort to bring in new-era jobs in technology and so-called green jobs.
Although he put no price tag on it, he said he would invest record amounts of money in the vast infrastructure program, which also includes work on schools, sewer systems, mass transit, electric grids, dams and other public utilities. He vowed to upgrade computers in schools, expand broadband Internet access, make government buildings more energy-efficient and improve information technology at hospitals and doctors' offices.
"We need action -- and action now," Obama said in an address taped for broadcast Saturday morning on radio and YouTube.
The president-elect's address never once used the word "spend," relying instead on "invest" or "investments," and pledging wise stewardship of taxpayer money in upgrading roads and schools, and making public buildings more energy-efficient.
"We won't just throw money at the problem," Obama said. "We'll measure progress by the reforms we make and the results we achieve -- by the jobs we create, by the energy we save, by whether America is more competitive in the world."
The address followed the latest grim economic report indicating that the country lost 533,000 jobs in November alone, bringing the total job loss over the past year to nearly 2 million. Although Obama remains more than a month away from taking office, the report heightened pressure on him to assert leadership before his inauguration.
Obama and his team are working with congressional leaders to devise a spending package that some lawmakers have suggested could total $400 billion to $700 billion. Some analysts forecast even higher costs.
A big part of that will be public works spending, particularly on projects aimed at conserving or expanding energy supplies and cleaning up the environment.
"We will create millions of jobs by making the single largest new investment in our national infrastructure since the creation of the federal highway system in the 1950s," Obama said.
He did not estimate how much he would devote to that purpose, but when he met with the nation's governors last week, they said the states had $136 billion worth of road, bridge and other projects ready to proceed as soon as money became available. They estimated that each $1 billion dollars spent would create 40,000 jobs.
"He hasn't given us any commitment, but we are fairly certain it's going to be large," Gov. Edward G. Rendell of Pennsylvania, a Democrat and chairman of the National Governors Association, said in an interview Saturday. "I think he understands if you're trying to reverse the economy and turn it around, this is not the time to do it on the cheap. This is not the time to do it in small doses. It's got to be big."
President Bush and other Republicans have resisted such an approach in part out of concern for the already soaring federal budget deficit, which could easily hit $1 trillion this year.
A substantial part of the proposed economic package will go toward creating so-called green jobs, those that benefit the environment or save energy. That part of the package could run as high as $100 billion over two years, according to an aide familiar with the discussions. more: http://www.commercialappeal.com/news/2008/dec/06/obama-vows-public-works-vast-scale/

...Oh well, if we are going to go broke as a country, we may as well have nice roads and bridges to walk on.
...If $10 Trillion and growing in published debt and about $40 Trillion in IOU's from the General fund to the Social Security fund is not being broke, I don't know what is.
...And for a fact, since Obama has only been a Senator since 2006, he did not cause much of it; although he certainly helped Illinois into bankruptcy.

Obama is already doing what I assumed that most politicians do once they win the election....
Alas his false proclamations of no more troops is finally being aired out like dirty laundry. The blind mice who ran in the voting boot to get him in now are hearing the reverse....as Obama is NOW stating...."We must send 20,000 American troops to aid in the root of the problem in Afganistan."
HELLO all those who voted for this guy....this is just the beginning....
At least McCain was an upfront straight shooter....
And don't label be Republican or Democrate, because I'm neither. I'm a swing voter that votes for the best candidate, and it sure wasn't Obama.
And a huge slap on the head to Jesse (Gender Bigot) Jackson for the knock to Sarah Palin! For being caught while the podium mike was still turned on and stating, "Well Sarah Palin isn't very intelligent, but she does have political savvy." He's just like every other jerk following those false rumors generated by Youtube on her not knowing about how Africa was a continent. I have lost total respect for his lack of political respect and discretion.
And for Gen. Colon for sitting on the fence to "Wait and see who is closer to winning the election." I say he's a man with no spine. To turn his back on a political colleague of 25 years proves what he is really all about. It just appeared he feared jumping over the fence because it would seem he was making a choice over race rather than making a choice of political congruency and alignment to his personal beliefs. Then joining the side last minute he thought would win the election...
Wow I have no respect for Gen. Colon either....
You can post what you want after this one. However, I'm just telling it straight up as I see it and I'm sure many, many other see it as well.
In regards to American's economy, and overseas conflicts.....As Betty Davis once said..."Fasten your seat belts, it's going to be a bumpy ride". Obama has no magic wand. And I'm tired of the press comparing him to "Lincoln, King or Kennedy". Get off it folks! Public figures must ride along on their own earned merits, not on the American idols of the past who've proven their talents. Obama has done nothing to speak of yet.
It really annoyed me when they tried to compare Clinton to Kennedy as well....Anyhow, Obama is a l r e a d y changing his tune quickly on all those false promises he made during his election....I'm just waiting out the ride....But don't blame me....
Have a good evening! ;-}

Before the election Obummer had a “solution” for every problem.
Now, after he wins, he is dumbing down expectations as if he never said anything of the sort. Suddenly he doesn’t want us to expect any quick solutions to ANYTHING. Suddenly it is expected to take years to “turn things around.”
Got news for you Obummer. If Mickey Mouse was in charge it would happen in “years.” We don’t need YOU for that. Market forces and the collective wisdom of the American people are the most powerful force for righting the ship. What we need you for is to GET IT DONE FASTER.
To listen to Obummer, it sounds like he doesn’t expect things to be any better for 4 or 5 years (conveniently after his first term when he can tell us “Vote for me so I can finish the job.”)
And the media is setting things up so that everything that happens until the year 2015 won’t be Obummers fault, but they will still be blaming it on Bush.

Decades of liberal bias in the media (and the schools) has warped history.
It is just accepted today by too many that Roosevelt’s New Deal and the giant public works spending he instituted, was the backbone of the recovery from the Great Depression. That’s hogwash!
That is false propaganda shoved down our throats from the left.
If the New Deal was so successful, how come the depression lasted for almost 7 MORE YEARS after it started? The New Deal started in 1933. The Great Depression didn’t end until 1939/1940 when WWII started.
It was WWII that created the economic environment that led the world out of the depression and NOT -- AS IS POPULARLY BELIEVED -- ROOSEVELT’S NEW DEAL.
The massive government spending of the New Deal PROLONGED THE DEPRESSION, it didn’t put an end to it.
Now Obama is emulating the New Deal and at the same time he just said that we should expect things “to get worse!” Wahhhhhhh?
When is the left, going to learn... YOU CANNOT SPEND YOUR WAY INTO PROSPERITY.
Apparently, Obama has not learned that himself. Unfortunately, I think that EVERYONE will have learned that THE HARD WAY after his cockamamie economic plans are implemented. .

Wah wah wah wah wah...
Get over it, DiamondRain. Grow up. Decades of neo-con propaganda didn't brainwash as many Americans as your ultra-fringies had hoped. People could actaully see how worthless, how destructive the neo-con agenda really was. We've been provided with eight years of neo-con control of the country, and what happens? We end up in a slump almost as bad as the Great Depression.
But you'll find some way to spin this to put the blame all on the Democrats. Because the "party of personal responsibility"... isn't...

Discounting the fact that it was for War Department spending, rather than infrastructure spending, SPENDING FOR WWII THAT PULLED US "OUT OF THE DEPRESSION" WAS STILL GOVERNMENT SPENDING. TAX DOLLARS. Well, future tax dollars, as they borrowed heavily for it. Basically, your argument amounts to "The government wasn't spending ENOUGH money yet to lift us out of completely out of the depression, until more people got behind the spending because it was "for the War effort."

Ah yes, revisionist neo-con babble about FDR and the New Deal causing the Great Depression. Yep, that 1929 stock crash would have just been a little blip if it hadn't been for the New Deal...Actually, it was FDR's caution against overspending and out-of-balance budgets that prolonged the Depression and is why it took WWII and the resulting spending to pull us out.

It was the Fed's reduction of the money supply that caused the Depression. The same money people that caused the Depression funded both sides of WWII. They are the same group that is now benefiting from all the bailouts. They give and take at whim, but always with the plan of seizing all power.
There is none so blind as they who will not see.

Ah yes, revisionist neo-con babble about FDR and the New Deal causing the Great Depression. Please try to get your premise right if you are going to try to mount a credible rebuttal to my comments people. If you premise is wrong, your argument cannot be effective.
I never said the New Deal caused the depression. I said it PROLONGED it.
Massive confiscation of wealth from the productive class and redistribution of that wealth to the non productive sector through the conduit of government has never and will never create sustainable widespread prosperity.
a.k.a. You can't spend your way to prosperity.
