Don't call me Pommy Mommy, and don't call me cupcake. The rules specifically state to not call people by names they don't want to be called. It's not funny, and I don't find it endearing, either. In fact, it's insulting, and you meant it that way.
Do it again, and I will report you. Say what???? Because of MY name calling? Nooo, I don't think so...first of all, I don't recall calling anyone any names, specifically. And even if I did, I can assure you it was done in rebuttal to someone insulting me and insinuating things about me which aren't true. Insinuation is just as bad, and just as evident, as outright calling someone names is.
For example, I'm not the least bit STUPID, but, time after time, people were either strongly hinting at it, or outright saying it. If the threads were closed strictly because of anything I said, then that PROVES some people here are allowed to get away with attacking others, while others are admonished for either defending themselves and/or countering those attacks with attacks of their own.
Just like you're attacking me now, by way of making fun of me and of my opinions.

Just like in this thread: I said NOTHING whatsoever derogatory to or about any member here. Popo started in on me, per usual, by calling me "Pommy Mommy" and insinutating things he has NO business insinuating.
Even after being asked to stop doing it, he continued on with it. Then comes the "Pom Link" crap. I'm getting sick to fkn DEATH that I cannot participate in discussions here without people attacking me PERSONALLY. That is supposed to be against forum rules, yet it's allowed to go on, time after time after time. Doesn't matter if I rebut it, return insult for insult, or ignore it, it is allowed to continue to happen, and no one ever gets reprimanded for it, or gets timed-out for it, or gets banned for it.
Why is it, when it comes to insulting me or anyone who shares opinions similar to mine, people are allowed to get away with it, but turn the tables, and they'll lock threads, make publish admonishments, keep you from posting in the forums, or even go so far as to ban you?

Well pom, firstly, I notice that you have conveniently ignored my post in this thread on where you have clearly started name-calling.
And go back and read the When is White History" thread. It is clear in that thread that you began the name calling and personal attacks.

ON TOPIC:
Although I don't buy the mayor's excuse that he didn't know that blacks and watermelons have been stereotyped in the past, and it was in extremely poor taste to send it to a black person... there does appear to be an over-sensitivity to any satirical implications.
Bush was ridiculed unmercifully, and still is. But open season on Bush appears to be just fine.
And interestingly enough, when I was in the Dominican, black artists portrayed themselves eating watermelon in many of their paintings! 
Yeah, people definitely need to lighten up - sometimes humor is just that - humor. What's the latest canuck joke, eh?
