Time to start exposing in detail...cronies in our government...
THis is NOT partisan...bring anything to the table you wish...any party...even non political people who in some way are using the government to further their careers, wealth, or steal from one and give to another...
anything against our CONSTITUTION..and our freedoms...anything that screws the American People..
Its just about cronyism...pure and simple..
hypocrites...pure and simple.
Destroyers of this country as it was formed and has existed these last 220 years..
Change we dont need.
ONE THING FORGOTTEN IN OUR GOVERNMENT IS THIS....
THEY ARE NOT OUR DICTATORS...
THE ARE OUR SERVANTS

Waters, a senior member of the congressional committee that oversees banking, has come under scrutiny because OneUnited Bank received $12 million in bailout funds after she helped arrange a meeting between its representatives and those from others banks and Treasury officials. Waters' husband, Sidney Williams, had been a board member and stockholder of OneUnited.

At a flail-and-wail House hearing last month, California Democratic Rep. Maxine Waters melted down in front of big banking CEOs. "Raise your hand! Raise your hand!" she shrieked as she harangued the executives on their business practices and management of federal bailout money. Sneering at the "captains of the universe," whom she refused to address by name ("You, Bank of America!"), Waters excoriated the corporate heads for their greed.
[a typical mantra of the left....Just curious...but is Waters perhaps a racial bigot herself...as you read along...whats good for this goose..is not ok for the gander...These banks she chatized were white owned..Amazing who race seems to be treated different in some circles..yet claiming racism..the typical shield of some]
"All of my political life," Waters bragged, "I have been in disagreement with the banking and mostly financial services community because of practices that I have believed to be not in the best interest always of the very people that they claim to serve."
but its ok. that the CEO of YOUR bank is riding around in a brand new Porsche, paid for by the bank and is paying for a $6 million dollar home in Santa Monica.again..paid my the bank...Is that whats called Fair these days? ..Ah..hmmm..but thats different...Really? Is it? Her rant is what makes her so ludicrious...chatizing some for the practices that she is allowing to happen in 'her little circle of friends"
YOu see folks....the people at the top have forgotten one thing..They work for us....Yes...even for those bankers regardless of the bailouts..Those bankers are citizens of this society as well...
Maxine Waters has forgoten what exatly her title is...Its not POTUS...its not Queen....Its not Dictator...but a mere [I]SERVANT OF THE PEOPLE...A servent of those bankers she was chatizing...Obviously forgetting that it was her gang that FORCED many banks by threatening their licensing if they didnt make loans to people that will never pay them back.....
And now..those same people...are getting their loans taken care of by ...YOUR TAX MONEY.....
Hey..by the way....hows your business doing these days...Have you lost YOUR house yet to forclosure? Because of all this corruption that caused a financial crisis..because of underserved loans...you are now going to loose your house..your business....yet those who didnt earn it..who caused it will be getting bailed out through ACORN and other entities..through the PORKULOUS bill?
Fair? Transparency? Where...Did I miss it?

As you'll soon see, however, the ethically conflicted Waters has her own special definition of what's in "the best interest" of the people she claims to serve. While she crusades against crony pseudo-capitalism, she is one of its most hypocritical beneficiaries and advocates. Cronyism comes in all colors.
Waters has once again earned her title as one of the "Most Corrupt" members of Congress from the left-leaning (yes, left-leaning) Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW).
WHAT???? She is considered one of the 'Most Corrupt" members of congress...by get this...a LEFT-LEANING group? Amazing..
This Left leaning group is obvioulsy members of the 'old' democrat party...when it used to mean something to be a Democrat..Unlike todays socialst democrat party..
The bank CEOs sat meekly during Waters' verbal flogging. But as she frothed at the mouth, House Financial Services Committee Chairman Barney Frank covered the microphone and briefly chastised her. To no avail. Waters' motor mouth kept on running.
Waters (along with Frank) participated directly in pressuring the feds for OneUnited's piece of the bailout pie. She personally contacted the Treasury Department last December requesting $50 million for the company -- and failed to disclose her ties to the bank to them. The government ended up coughing up $12 million in TARP funding for OneUnited -- despite another government agency rapping the bank in October 2008 for "operating without effective underwriting standards and practices," "operating without an effective loan documentation program," and "engaging in speculative investment practices."
The favored bank of Maxine Waters was also penalized for alleged excessive executive compensation.
The FDIC ordered the bank to "sell all bank-owned automobiles," require reimbursement for executives' car purchases (according to the Boston Business Journal,
OneUnited CEO Kevin Cohee was cruising around in a 2008 Porsche SUV), and cease payments on a $6 million Santa Monica beachfront home purchased by Cohee, his wife, Teri Williams, who served as bank president, and others.[QUOTE]

And the many Stalinist Show Trials perpetrated against the Right...trials that lead to absolutly no where..but only destroying peoples families..
It seems to me...Nancy Pelousis promise of getting rid of cronies..shoud perhaps begin with herself and the first to go.
The next is in part of what was discussed in a congressional meeting brought to order due to the problems with Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac......
When some were worried about a possible financial crisis coming..one of the most adament members of congress Maxine Waters...was saying things like "Why fix it if its not broke." But it was..and thats why they were having those hearings.
I belive alot of people like her are using our political system to do favors for her personal friends..and her race as well...by stealing the taxpayers money and 'redistributing" it to underserving others..

I've often wondered if she would like to learn how to do an RSS feed. Then she can put all her stuff in one place, and just put continuous-loop messages everywhere. Over the course of several days (!!!!), all her plagiarized material would then be viewed by anyone with the intestinal fortitude and mental discipline to tolerate that much hyperbole, insinuation, and outright deception.

Amazing? Uh...why? Left or right, group or individual...is an opinion that amazing? Or simply that it came from that particular group? Or perhaps you find it amazing that a left group would demonstrate anti-crony behaviour by 'outing' a person that might have been considered "one of their own"?

I see the appellation of "left-leaning" was applied to C.R.E.W. by that bastion of moderation, Michelle Malkin. Imagine that. The woman who wrote "In Defense of Internment: The Case for 'Racial Profiling' in World War II and the War on Terror," defending Japanese American internment by the United States Government during World War II, would describe C.R.E.W. as "left-leaning." I empasized that because..I pointed out as well..that she was voted most corrupt by a left-leaning organization....
I dont know if you remember..but the Democrats used to be a decent party..
They are not the same as the democrats of yesteryear. The party has been infiltrated and taken over by the communist/socialist...
I believe this organization is probably dem types from an earlier era...where decency and honesty mattered..unlike todays dem party..
but i do believe you will see a division soon...There are still some good dems in the party that hopefully will out these socialist that have infiltrated the party..and corrupted it into something other than the Dem party of JFK days..
Maxine Waters is a member of the Democratic Socialists of America...this is the infiltration of the traditional democrat party...a far cry from what it was in the 1960's..its something completly different..
AS USUAL...the typical libs came on her and offered nothing but jabs and pokes with no viable information AT ALL...

MF, I truly suggest you read some history books. You'll be surprised at how "immoral" this country has been, even going back to its founding fathers and before. All the stuff you've been saying about the past? It's nostalgia, not facts. More stuff was hidden, more stuff was ignored, but it was still happening.
Here's an interesting fact for you: Geneticists have been able to identify a consistent 3-5% "cuckolding" over the past several hundred generations. Even in our most "moral" times, about 1 in 20 children was born to women having extramarital affairs. And that's ignoring the women who had premarital affairs!

And the trial marriages...people used to have trial marriages that lasted a year or so and then if they worked out, they'd agree to go forward. Not to mention that given the rate of death in childbirth, men usually had several wives over the course of their lives.
