When the anti gun whacked out Liberal loons in Chicago steadfastly refuse to let people carry concealed...naturally, this is what you are going to end up with!
On the flip side of this argument...when concealed carry is the law...these numbers either hold or drop! Even the nasty urban jungle of Detroit where you'd FULLY EXPECT gun violence numbers to be greater then Chicago isn't as bad! Hmmm...just a hunch...but it might have something to do with concealed carry laws?
The incidence of violent crime in Michigan in the six years since the law went into effect has been, on average, below the rate of the previous six years. The overall incidence of death from firearms, including suicide and accidents, also has declined.

Now wait a second.. 
I thought Barack cleaned up that area, as a Community Organizer, then after he was finished, he rested. And then from there he went on to become State Senator!?!? And then Federal Senator. And then... Well, you know the rest of the story.
How come the area where we was the Community Organizer, and got it all cleaned up, (aided by Reverend Wright of course), is now deemed the worst and most gang-infested, drug-riddled hood in the entire country?
I don't get it.. How can that be?

That was his area then....
the whole country is his now, and there are LOTS of neighborhoods like this.
Just because you "clean something up"....doesn't mean it stays that way. Heck-I have to vacuum my carpet 5 times a week

Well, not to appear skeptical. But this question:
How come the area where we was the Community Organizer, and got it all cleaned up, (aided by Reverend Wright of course), is now deemed the worst and most gang-infested, drug-riddled hood in the entire country?
Kind of makes me wonder how well he really may have vacuumed it in the first place. And is he now vacuuming up the entire country, just about the same way??

Why does it reappear?
If you cleaned up your community by locking up criminals, putting more police on the street, empowering the neighborhood into community watch programs, providing jobs for people to earn a living,,,, I.E. fixed the problem,,,, then it should not come back. These fixes should remain even if left.
However,,, if all you did to clean up the community was plant some flowers, increase police presense to move the crooks into another part of town,,,, i.e. made it look better rather then truely fix the problem,,,, then,,,, it's going to come back.
Technically,,,, with the house of the president still there,,,, and all the extra security on the block and around the house,,,, they have more law enforcement presence than they ever had,,, so what's the problem?
Wait,,, is his house in this community with the gang problem, or is he on the island of rich folks who live by the campus?

Just because you "clean something up"....doesn't mean it stays that way. Hence the strong push he makes about the need for everyone chipping in, helping out. You can lead a horse to water, it may drink, but what happens to the horse after you walk away?
Well, not to appear skeptical. Too late, you're obviously already are.
Pick up your own trash, help out your neighbor. Care and they will care.
Its like driving past a accident and not sticking around to help. Always someone else's problem, and they need to fix it, while I'll drive off and complain about it later, mentality.
And you wonder why your neighbor's hoods suck, neighbors like you.
My grandpa taught me better then that, taught me his values.
If the grass ain't as green as it should be on the other side, go water it.

The State Prison is starting a "governor's wing", and and politicans' retire base on the sentence they serve after being convicted.
Seriously, there is even a sign in the DMV that says "NO BRIBERY ALLOWED!"
