What a freaking joke. First of all, there are links to these videos all over the net. But of course, according to MF, they are going to "disappear" any day now (which I'm sure her "hacker friends" can confirm).
As far as the video is concerned, it's an obvious smear campaign. I can summarize the video in one sentence: "Obama must be hiding something, because he won't tell us everything we want to know." It is typical of uneducated people to take information presented by unreliable sources at face value. There are videos like this about most high ranking public officials; nothing new here.
In fairness, I'm sure MF was just as concerned about Bush's deserting the Texas Air National Guard, his DUI conviction, his (well covered up) cocaine bust, the SEC investigation regarding his involvement in insider trading... and all that is before he even took office. Forget about his dismantling of the constitution, lying about Iraq & 9/11, the firing of federal prosecutors, the illegal detention of hundreds if not thousands of people, paying reporters to write fake news stories, conducting scripted interviews with soldiers (as proven by a recorded rehearsal of the interview), cutting taxes in wartime...
Anyone can throw mud at a political figure. Doing actual research (which does not involve simply copying/pasting text from BLOGs and links to YouTube videos), takes actual time, effort, and intelligence.
Your lack of education is quite evident, MF. You really should have finished college, where you would have learned to do actual scholarly research.

Funny how he asked Chris Matthews to ask Obama to show him his "gift certificate". A Freudian slip? Are the birthers giving him a stack of gift certificates to the Mens' Warehouse for joining their fringe group?

They're also very selective when it comes to the "evidence" they DO rely on.
If anything from the government or "official" sources agrees in any way with their pet theory, it's gospel. Otherwise it's rejected as tainted, planted, and untrustworthy. Funny how that works, doesn't it? They play the double-standard to the hilt with a straight face and not a hint of hypocrisy.
I simply can't stand conspiracy fanatics and the way their minds work (a laugh in itself).

Plus, when simple observations are made, commenting on their double-standards, they tend to react with juvenile comments and an excess of emoticons.
But then, polls have shown that that a large segment of the "birther" movement are low-paid, poorly-educated white Southerners. A combination of any of those attributes makes up a significant part of the movement... Just white Southerners alone fall for this conspiracy theory at almost SEVEN TIMES the national average...

...Apparently, Obama wants to maintain the controversy, which does not remotely align with his platform of "open government," or as has been done, his silence and evasiveness continues to feed the conspiracy theories and could prove to be very dangerous.
...After all, his secrecy, his sealing of school and university records does not remotely align with the openness of say Bush Jr or Clinton and even the least curious will eventually wonder what he is hiding from.

I can think of two possible reasons I wouldn't do it, if I were in his shoes.
1. Most of the birthers will just claim then that McCain has been compromised and is now part of the conspiracy. No reason to do that to McCain's political career. He's well liked. Leave him alone.
2. Just to prove I don't have to jump 'cause some redneck says to. Obama's done more than the law requires. The only reason this goes on and on is ignorance. It's up to them to prove their case, which they have never done. I can't believe the thousands upon thousands who accepted the word of one anonymous internet blogger claiming to be a document expert who declared it was fake, but won't believe the word of the many, many people who say they have seen it and it's real. It IS ended for anybody with a modicum of common sense.
