...In your wildest dreams, after paying more than 50 years into this retirement system, if you don't see it as belonging to the individual that paid into it, then I cannot explain it to you.

Social Security is an EARNED benefit.

Loreli: Individuals pay into their own Socoal Security

...Supposed to, but if they don't, there is still a welfare bonus that makes it about $600 month from those that do. As well, those that have one leg a 1/4 inch shorter than the other and concluded as disabled by some quack, are also paid out of Social Security.

hasn't been like this since after World War 1 from my understanding.
I'll be paying for Capos and S.G.'s Bandtmoms when she retires.
Anyways, just wanted to remind ya all, them lazy asses on welfare and food stamps count for 33.8 million Americans. Enjoying your elitism I hope?

What verse is that in the song?
Or is it just selective objective hearing and a sad attempt?

Seems everything I buy these days
Has got a foreign name
From the kind of car I drive
To my video game
I got a NIKKON camera
A Sony color Tee Vee
But the one that I love is from the U.S.A.
And standing next to me.

My baby is American Made
Born and bred in the U.S.A.
From her silky long hair to her sexy long legs
My baby is American Made.

She looks good in her tight blue jeans
She bought in Mexico

And she loves wearing French perfume
Everywhere we go
But when it comes to the lovin' part
One thing is true
My baby's genuine U.S.A.
Red White and Blue

Next?

Everyone up!!!!!
for Capobeach.

Good for you Capo, you have a victory, against the Burns.
Pat yourself on the back.

Now, no matter how fine the jeans maybe, I love this country to much to leave it, or it's women. Silly man, didn't you know it was the lady that made the sexy in the jeans, and not the jeans that made the woman sexy?

Fine, I don't fault you for having that opinion at all...but why am I not allowed to have different goals? I can guarantee you that the marlin fishing where you are is sadly lacking...but it is awesome down here!

...Your not understanding part, I do understand...

...Everyone paid into their own Social Security until the Johnson administration and I know, I know, that sounds like a long time ago to you, but actually long after even World War II.

...Then, the bastards have taken some $43 Trillion and rising from this Social Security fund and put in the General Fund, spent it all and now you will be paying back the IOU's for people like me that will retire before you.

....Here, look up "defined pension plan."

==========

Burns: Anyways, just wanted to remind ya all, them lazy asses on welfare and food stamps count for 33.8 million Americans

...Better check again, as this is not 2000 anymore and the number is substantially higher.

I don't even want to know how you caught a free range chicken; is that like a buzzard, a hawk, maybe an owl, or whatever the catch of the day is?

Perhaps a delicious meal from the 'Roadkill Cafe'....".

Frickin Chicken that Took Lickin",

Flat Cat, served as a single or or in a stack....

Center Line Bovine....tastes real good straight from the hood...

Slab of Lab...

Thumper on a Bumper...

Feline Ferrarri

Toad Ala Road....

Chunk of skunk..

Tortise Rigor Mortis...

Sun Baked Snake....

These days..ya neva know what cha gonna get....so many people from different nations..with different eating habits..

I know a woman thats been on welfare for around 30 years..and when one child is about to go off the roles..she has another baby....

She supplements her income with prostitution..and making yet more babies...

Her 'live in' father to her babies..owns a house which they rent out...as they can get gov. housing much cheaper...

Their kids are now entering the Welfare Society..

Whats wrong with this picture....

Welfare should only be for those who truly need a helping hand..

This woman I mentioned has been turned in numerous times by her own family..and yet..the gov turns a blind eye..

This kind of stuff gives welfare a bad name..

ooo...scarey.

Thats what Obama promised ...CHANGE.....and look whats happening!

Perhaps some things are better NOT changed..for instance..the foundations of this nation...the foundations that made us a great and strong nation...

Dont throw the baby out with the bath water...We just need to make a few adjustments..without totally destroying the nation.and 'changing' it into something we dont recognize..

All of Americas failings have come from corrupt dishonest people in power..in both parties..the system is good...its the people who were bad....clean house..and start over...

If the foundations were so great, the US would not be in the mess it now is. The checks and balances built into the constitution did not check corruption nor balance power.

Because one thing was missing.....the one thing that is the key to the constitution working properly..

An informed electorate....and people who get involved in their government..

thats how this happened...We allowed the foxes to watch our chickens..while we were having fun...not paying attention..

If it werent for the 2nd amendment....gun ownership...then we would be in a world of hurt by now...thats the one thing besides the constitution that keeps us free..

But not to worry..the PEOPLE are now awake and doing something about it....Protesting..Tea Bag parties...

This is the beauty of America...there are many checks and balances..and we saw many of them work this past 9 months..

Protests..

Tea Parties

States rights...

These things are working perfectly..it has put a stall on the socialization of this nation..

Is there any better system than ours?

Not in Europe...they have all been disarmed a long long time ago...thats why our founding fathers made sure we had gun rights here in this country...

They saw that a disarmed people are vulnerable to the gov......

I agree with this statement, BUT in my opinion most of the tea party groups are misinformed, rather than informed. That is what is so very sad. A lot of people fall for all the propaganda and hate filled rants, coming from people like Glenn Back and Rush Limbaugh and they do not bother to check the facts.
