US District Judge Clay Land has slapped a $20,000 fine on birther attorney Orly Taitz. Judge Land had previously dismissed a case brought before his court by Taitz on behalf of Connie Rhodes.
The blistering 43-page document, which includes the $20,000 sanction against Taitz reads:
Competent and ethical lawyers “are essential to the primary governmental function of administering justice.” Goldfarb v. Va. State Bar, 421 U.S. 773, 792 (1975). For
justice to be administered efficiently and justly, lawyers must understand the conditions that govern their privilege to practice law. Lawyers who do not understand those conditions are at best woefully unprepared to practice the profession and at worst a menace to it.
And that's just from the first paragraph, a paragraph where Judge Land quotes Supreme Court Justice Cardozo:
Membership in the bar is a privilege burdened with conditions. [A lawyer is] received into that ancient fellowship for something more than private gain. He
[becomes] an officer of the court, and, like the court itself, an instrument or agency to advance the ends of justice.
Taitz has 30 days to comply with Judge Land's order. Following the end of that 30 days, the Judge has indicated he will turn the matter over for prosecution to the US Attorney. At best, she's out $20,000, but may see the inside of a jail cell and the loss of her bar privileges.

...Or, there is that option of appealing to a higher court, or having her day in court with the prosecutor.
...Land, a lifer judge appointment, is an Article III judge, which specifically calls his court one of the "inferior Courts."
...Maybe there is a definite reference to the "inferior" part. 
...He could have just dismissed this one as well, but the system does not want anyone to question their authority.

How is it that this nation consents to be ruled by 'laws' written and passed by these members of the legalese club? They can't agree half the time on what their volumes of words say, yet they are putting together 'acts' which 535 'representative' people decide will be 'law'. These turkeys are just creating jobs for themselves and their fellow 'bar' members -- jobs that produce nothing!

Taitz may appeal, but I don't think she'll win and will risk disbarrment. Also from the judge's ruling:
"The Court finds that counsel’s conduct was willful and not merely negligent. It demonstrates bad faith on her part. As an attorney, she is deemed to have known better. She owed a duty to follow the rules and to respect the Court. Counsel’s pattern of conduct conclusively establishes that she did not mistakenly violate a provision of law. She knowingly violated Rule 11. Her response to the Court’s show cause order is breathtaking in its arrogance and borders on delusional.”
My only quibble with Judge Land is his use of the term "borders on." Having seen Taitz on television, the delusional ship has well and truly sailed.
Taitz's troubles aren't limited to Judge Land's missive. Her plaintiff, Capt. Rhodes, has filed a grievance against Taitz. According to Rhodes, Taitz filed the lawsuit without consulting her! If this claim turns out to be true, Taitz could face criminal charges.

LOL, burns. I guess it's a good thing she has dentistry to fall back on, because I don't think she'll be allowed to practice law in the future. On the otherhand, Section 4 of the State of California's code of ethics for its dentists states:
A dentist has the obligation to comply with all state and federal laws and regulations. It is unethical for a dentist to violate any law of the state of California relating to the practice of dentistry or to engage in activity for which the dentist may be reprimanded, disciplined, or sentenced by final action of any court or other authority of competent jurisdiction, when such action reflects unfavorably on dentists or the dental profession. It is also unethical for a dentist to engage in unprofessional conduct as it is defined by the Dental Practice Act.
So she could also lose her dental license as well.

Not so good...as we need honest lawyers with guts such as Orily Taitz to put these vermon lawyers out of business..such as Obama...a lawyer...a lying lawyer..
I will pray for Orly Taitz as she is a true American Hero...standing up for whats right ih America...standing up to evil liars.....upholding the Constitution....like Obama is SUPPOSED to be doing as the president of this nation....but he is not...instead..hes thumbed his nose at it..and wont prove his citizenship..hes a deceiver and not a lover of the truth.....
i find it odd..that you folks dont seem to care about the law...the constitution..so very weird...

I find it sad that in our country...the rule of law doesnt seem to matter to many...and to want Orily Taitz to loose here license is sort of vicious...Shes doing a good job..tring to keep Obama honest... But hell..thats a big job in itself...
I guess to some..the truth just doesnt matter anymore....sad times we live in..
If they do anything to Orily...she will become a mayrter and the protests will start again...because she is right to do what is being done..and the rest of us are tired of all the lying going on in Washington..
I just cant wait for the next elections so we can do some freaking house cleaning...and then two years later....clean the hell out of that dreary place we call Washington...Its become a place of dishonesty...for DECADES...
but its our own fault for believeing the liars...in the first place..BOTH PARTIES....lying to us for decades...using false crisis's to get us to follow their lead...leading us to destruction..Hell...look at us today...this crisis was man made...and not only by bush..but the whole bunch of these corrupt azzes...

Would that be the "honest" lawyer who filed lawsuits on behalf of someone who DIDN'T want the lawsuit filed?
And it's questionable if Taitz, with her alleged unethical practices, will remain a lawyer for long. (Lawyers don't mind if other lawyers break the law. But break the rules of the bar association? Tsk tsk tsk...)

And please dont put all the blame on Bush...there is plenty to share between all the past presidents..
But for now..Obama is doing absolutely nothing about the economy..
And there are millions of unemployed....millions..
and the recent pandemic scare isnt working..and they wont be able to 'get rid' of millions with their tainted shots...so now what...the millions they thought they would 'off' are going to still be here...

Orly Taitz has been trying to use an unwilling person to achieve her political agenda. The captain in question has stated, in affidavits, that she in no way authorized ANYTHING Taitz has done since the captain lost her lawsuit (the SECOND lawsuit filed; Taitz was "judge shopping," apparently).
And that's not even considering the fact that she accused the judge of being a traitor, and of being in collusion with the US Attorney General (at a time when the AG was about 2000 miles away, and nowhere near where her sources claimed he was meeting with the judge).
Taitz is someone so fixated on her political beliefs that she jumps at any "evidence" she might find that supports her delusions.
