I was horrified this morning after hearing a recording of a Mexican politition in LA on a local radio station leading an immigration protest saying that White and African Americans are'nt producing children anymore because they are getting to old , and that Mexicans are the future of America. Other Mexicans and also the leader of a Mexican Paramilitary group called the Brown Berets were shouting ," Go back to Boston and Plymoth Rock White Americans , go back to Africa African Americans , old White and African Americans should die , it is their duty to die , they have been beaten like dead rats , and if anyone will be deported it will be White and African Americans. How dare these people alot of whom are illegal citizens suggest that White Americans and especially African Americans leave our country!!! America was built on the backs of African Americans and also the Native American Indians. That being said, I am against any illegal immigrant living in the U.S.A taking advantage of our educational, medical and welfare systems. I am of Portagese , Puerto Rican and Dutch desent. My Grandfather and my Father served this country in the U.S. Army as legal citizens. I myself served in the U.S. Army during the Desert Storm Gulf War in Kuwait. We all did so to protect our freedoms and democracy here in our country and abroad. Do you think that these illegal immigrants would want to chance coming here illegally if it meant getting caught would get them a free trip to the front lines in Iraq?? I think not. I believe in the freedom of speach here in the U.S.A , but should'nt you have to be a legal citizen first to be able to complain and have a say in our countrys politics??? If immigrants want to become American citizens I have no problem with that. But they must be made to do it like my grandparents and many other legal immigrants had to do it and that is the legal way!!! Then they can have the right to say whats right and wrong for this country. A Mexican Paramilitary leader also went as far as to say they they will win the immigration through violence if necessary. To me , that is a declaration of war. So...what do you people think should be done about this growing problem that could in the near future erupt into a cival war here in our own country???

Hey,,try living out here in California!!!
I did see this on the news.
How do I feel about it? They need to become citizens, just like every body else.
If this means going back to their country and trying again, then that is what they should do.
I also heard about death threats to some of our polititions out here.
I also think that if they have lived here for over a year, have a job, pay their bills, then they should be able to live here, but have such and such time to try to get legal. Oh, and not have any felony's too.

I don't have a problem with immigration. Just do it legally without cutting to the front of the line.
I also heard about death threats to some of our polititions out here.
I read about that. The death threats are wrong but all politicians get them all the time. There's no point in making a bigger deal about these than any others. The Minutemen down on the border face constant threats and the occasional gunshot across the border.

All that I can say is to ignore them. The day will come when all the whites,African-Americans and Mexicans combined in this country will be a minority to Asians.

For that matter we've had border patrolmen actually shot from across the border. If the politicians want to whine, maybe they should get down out of their ivory towers and do a little fence walking out in the open.

Pass This On If You Agree
All American citizens by birth or through naturalization are being asked to mail letters addressed to President Bush on Monday May 1st 2006 demanding that the President:
1) Dispatch troops to the Mexican border immediately to stop the human trafficking of illegal aliens.
2) Enforce all existing immigration laws immediately and ask congress for the funding to have them enforced effectively.
3) Through Executive Order outlaw all Sanctuary City policies throughout the United States.
Letters are to be addressed to:
George W. Bush
President of the United States
1600 Pennsylvania Avenue NW
Washington DC 20500
Stamp your Envelopes with an upside down American Flag stamp to signify the distress that the country is in.

Do not let us down; we demand immediate action. On behalf of all of America’s citizens I ask that you not turn your back on us.
Sincerely,

I think a lot of the major companies that hire employees illegally, should be held responsible.
Many of them hire without verifying social security numbers, and other types of identification, which allows them to pay lower wages.
They need to be held accountable for the rising costs that consumers are facing, due to identity theft.

You can send free faxes through numbers USA . The thing about a fax is the fact that it makes actual paper pile up in the offices of our government officials. I've sent them to both my senators, my representative. and a new one to the White house today.

Anyone hear about these plans to boycott? Just wondering..
Mexicans nationwide are planning to boycott all
"gringo" goods and
services on May 1, to demonstrate their buying
power and influence the US
Government regarding the issue of what to do
about the estimated 12
million (and counting) illegal aliens we have in
the US.

being Latino myself, I have tried to avoid the subject. Being Puerto Rican, all the members of my family were born American citizens. So I can't honestly say I know what it's like. I do know though that many white Americans would like to see Puerto Rico become an independant nation. Not because it would benefit Puerto Rico, but just because my people would need visas and green cards to enter the country like other Latin Americans.
I'm just afraid that those illegal immigrants causing such a stink will draw negative attention to the millions of legal immigrants and born American citizens of hispanic heritage. I could care less either way. I live in Massachusetts. I don't really see many illegal immigrants around here.
I think that illegal immigrants, are okay for the most part though. I don't think its the immigration laws that need enforcing, its the labor laws they need to enforce better. Instead of forcing Mexicans out, just force their employers to pay Juan and Miguel the same as John and Mike, and I really don't see the problem. Besides, if all the illegal mexicans were deported, who would wash dishes and pick fruit out west? We all know damn well John and Mike would rather sit home and collect SSI for some phony condition than go out and do menial labor for peanuts.

Well, the boycott was pretty much a non-event here in Phoenix. Traffic was a little light, and the stores were relatively empty but I don't usually shop on Monday so that might have been normal. From what I've heard there were as many anti-protesters as there were protesters, but I haven't heard about any violence. Actually, it was a very pleasant day, even if we did hit triple digit temperatures a few weeks earlier than normal.

It seemed pretty low key here too. I live in the East bay.
I am really glad there wasn't any really bad crimes commited though.
These kind of things tend to bring out people that want to use it as a way to vandalise(sp).

There was some violence but it didn't seem too serious. They were showing some video of some rock throwing on the news this morning. Unfortunately there are some very militant and violent groups among them and I suspect it's going to get worse before it gets better.
What infuriates me most of all are the companies that lure them here while claiming it keeps costs low. Take Cargill as an example. I wonder how Cargill feels about Americans buying cheaper medicine in Canada?

A news report on the demonstration held in Madison,Wi yesterday also interviewed a legal immigrant from Mexico who was against the rally all together. She was against all the illegals crying for equal rights because they are to lazy to do the footwork to become legal. She said that it was hard and alot of paperwork and time went into it but was worth it all to become a citizen.

I'm thinking the boycott was a non-event. Every body stocked up beforehand, and will continue as usual afterward. BFD.
