Posts: 3,308 Lord, you don’t hear from me often
But here I am today
My hands are clasped tightly
As I sit here and I pray.

I’ve always prayed for others
That I have in my life today
My family, my children, my friends
And the ones you took away

I hope this is not selfish
As to why I’m here today
I know there are people that are worse off
But it’s for me Lord, as to why I pray

Life has not been easy
As you and I both know
You gave me strength and courage
To forgive, so that I could grow

I managed to pull myself up
Through all that I was dealt
I was proud of another accomplishment
Then you hit me again as to how I felt

You did bring me a love
For 20 wonderful years
Two beautiful healthy children
That were blessed with your tears

I made a change to my life
For my own personal sake
A decision only I had made
Accepted the sacrifices that I would have to make

Well Lord, I need your strength again
The courage to believe in me
And live life the way I dreamed it
Or is this the way you intended it to be

I’m tired Lord
With the challenges you bring to me
I’ve paid a price of a lifetime
Please take these chains and set me free

I’m not a bad person
I have a heart of gold
Allow someone to love me
So I can give back tenfold

He always light a dark footpath
When you seek refuge to Him

His everlasting love
always here and ready
to give hope and forgive
and to recieve love

He maybe give you trials in life
but His meciful Love
is always given

at last as He test
your courage to know
life is here for us

to enjoy happiness
and to suffer a little
sacrifices so we can

see what Jesus have done
to us and give His life
for salvation and the love of all mankind

for the love of His Father
surely the little sacrifices
we do is nothing to compare

what He suffer and giveth
everlasting promise
to have Faith

you will have your
gift that he has already
prepared for you

one day it will just surprise you
with a big smile in your face
and a heart burning with love
to be thankful for HIM

Amen.

In Him seek and strive you will find
His merciful Love,
