Life Is a Maze
Life in reality is nothing but a maze,
a world filled with corridors to lead you on your way.
Some proceed careful and slow,
never to find the right way to go.
Try as they might,search as they will,
the road to freedom doesn't sit still.
Let's not forget the ones that go straight,
never slowing to enjoy everything that is great.
Succeed they might, I do not know.
But ponder this: What is left behind to show?
The ones that succeed and accomplish the goal
always stop and search every hole,
learning from mistakes, proceeding with pride,
passing along the wisdom that's inside.
Obstacles will arise, which is no threat,
for the wise man will always think before he steps.
As the light in the tunnel grows brighter ahead,
you as a person can sit back and raise your head.
For, the love and joy in which you have shared
will stay with the many whose paths are unclear.
