The Last Storm
bad weather is here, for the heart that is broken
to the love that was had, some bad things were spoken
the slow heavy heartbeat, rumbles like thunder
fair weather is gone, to where I must wonder
dreary skies and heart, on the shores egdes
strong winds churn the waves, into the shape of wedges
darkening clouds on horizon,are sinking so low
all the pain in the heart, does anyone know
close all cracks, so nothing gets in
no rain,no love, not even a friend
been thorugh this before,each time it gets worse
a hurricane of emotions, has it not ever hurt
momments of despair, waiting on hope
that the sun will shine through,on this storm that has broke
lonely and frigid,I am to the core
longing to not, be lonely anymore
after way too long, this storm will subside
no longer the need to protect,defend or hide
bright rays of hope shine down from the sun
new chances to find that special someone
winds stop, skies clear and both hearts mend
knowing you'll never be together again
the journey continues, no I'm not done
just praying that storm, was the last one
