Posts: 7,722 I finally saw my angel
she came from heaven above
she showed me kindness and compassion
and taught me how to love

She was looking down upon me
and when I could bare no more
she floated softly to me
and lifted me off the floor

She picked me up and brushed me off
from the dark depths of my hole
and showed me how to truely love
with my mind,my heart and soul

I waited for her all my life
I knew she would come some day
she showed that prayers are answered
It was for her presence that I prayed

This love she so patiently showed me
was like no previous love before
I felt this wonderful feeling
and all I longed for was more

She gives me hope and a inspiration
which was buried deep inside
I yearn to be with her the rest of my days
the perfect companion to whom I can confide

I need her in my arms each day
to cherish and hold so tight
If anything tried to pull her away
my arms of love would squeeze with might

I'll never let go of my angel
and worship her I will
she shows me what true love means
something most will never feel

I am a fullfilled soul now
don't be so surprised
your angel may be closer than you think
open your heart then open you eyes.
