And the willows bend
with the wind.
Sweeping to and fro,
in unison,
not alone.

Weeping for no one.
Singing softly to the
current that moves
them, that sends them
a symphony of waves,
notes,
vibration.

The willows have their
inspiration
and sway to satiation.
Fulfilled, they become
still, contemplating
the essential meaning
of being wholly rooted
in the earth.

They are one with the
world and,
they know it.
