Fear not death when it knocks at your door
You think it's all here, but there's so much more.
As darkness descends amidst the light
The Soul delights getting ready for flight.
Fear not death, right at your side
I sit with you and gently abide
I wipe your tears and touch your brow
Loving you along in this here and now.
Fear not death, on the other side is life
Just a different place, but with God in plain sight.
Fear not death, it does not exist
You'll only change form within the mist.
I'm with you always as you fly away
I know you are safe and will be ok
Each time my heart beats it prays with you
Goodbye for now, I Love You This Truth!!

Oh, sweet pea, the above two poems are so wonderful! I love them both, but the first one struck me because before I accepted the Lord as my Savior I feared death. Now I know it as a celebration!

The first poem in particular flowed gorgeously, you really pulled off the repetition and parallelism without hurting the poem. Of course the theme is most reassuring. Excellent work.
The first stanza is itself melifluous almost in its soud. The Soul delights getting ready for flight is just beautiful.

Fear not this shadow that has moved inside
It moves within us so we may move to decide...
Within all of life, like the falling leaves
Let it gently descend so we may clearly perceive...
The cry of the Ancients, the cries of today
Can be healed with LOVE, it's the only way...
This only way is more than enough
Focus not on hate, or on superfluous stuff...
Fear not what we hear, or what we think we see
LOVE'S WAY knows the answer, leave it to thee...
Yet do what we can, but fight not against
Fight for something instead to sooth the angst...
Fear not this journey that we all must face
It's nothing yet everything, we've been given a taste
Of what it means to be human, and alive
In the end, fear not, we will survive...
With LOVE within and LOVE without
I tell you this truly I have no doubt
LOVE what is yours, but let go and let LOVE
Because in the end, when all said and done
The TRUTH stands before us, indeed we are ONE!!!

Our Moon came out, I watched it last night
So like the Sun it comes to us in Light.
No need to fear, or believe that we are lost
The Moon tells us "I am here, for you at any cost."
The Moon is still out, but where did it go?
If we close our eyes inside we will know
It's hangin' around to visit us at night
Knowing we seek calm that everything's alright.
The intelligence of this superb entity
Open your eyes and you will see
This glorious Being, so simple and True
Says "I love you" Dear People, if you only knew!
