I need you here to love me when
no one else will love,
To touch me with your eyes
and know you care;
To listen to my heartbreak
and my victories.
I need you in my life
to laugh and share.
I want you by my side
while we are sleeping,
And with me as each
season starts anew;
As days fade into nights,
and years to numbers -
When sunshine shades,
and rainbows change their hue.

I love you like the gently rocking seawaves,
And like the thunderous rolling of the storm;
In black of all-mysterious midnight -
And clamor of a multi-colored dawn.
I miss you with daybreak hours creeping,
When the blazing sun shines o'er the land;
When pale moon peers upon the forests -
I miss you, and I reach to hold your hand.
