To say I love you as
Your invisible presence
Jars my stance
Facing the rising sun

Noon and I feel you
Your thoughts bouncing
In perfect rhythm
With mine and
We feast on lunch

Afternoon and we relax
In open embrace
Of swaying hammock
In the cool shade of
Iced tea and knowing looks

Evening and the moon reflects
Our heads bowed low
On garden swing
Soft blossoms on whispers
Bring our hearts to bloom.

Midnight and we make love
The time is now to
Hold hands amongst
Tangled limbs that
Wind, bend and spread
To roots that romance eternity.
