Posts: 3 I need to know more about postmenopausal. Since some days, my mother was suffering from lower back pain. The pain was so unbearable that she had to stay in bed. I brought her to the doctor, where he diagnosed that he has postmenopausal osteoporosis. She has been prescribed with boniva to treat that osteoporosis. I have read an article on the net saying that boniva has many side effects and I am worried for mum. But till now she has not experienced any side effects of that medication. She has taken it for about 1 week. Can anyone tell more about boniva?? Has anyone ever experienced the side effects of this medication?? Is it dangerous??
