How bad of fast food are we talking?
Are we talking about Whopper or Subway, because I don’t see a problem with a chicken sub with lots of veggies, but I don’t think I would make a habit of Whoppers or Big Macs.

Most fast food is filled with a high calorie content and is really bad for your body....You would be surprised of all the fatty calories.

Fast Food is terrible for you, its the worst thing you can eat.
High in fat and cholesterol like everyone else said and it is also loaded with chemicals and preservatives that are also just as bad if not worse than the fat and high cholesterol.

I'm fast food   
No actually I do eat a good dinner...but breakfast and lunch(if we take one) is alot of the times fast

Restaurants in general are making an effort to create healthier choice these days, simply b/c the public demands it. The governement and health care agencies stress a healthy diet so much, that the public is more educated, and want better selections available.

We have no idea of where or what food is derived from in any of the food we consume in public be it fast food or restaurant food.
Consuming food in public is a form of Russian roulette considering that most sources that provide food is prepared and served by the least educated among us. Considering that the FDA does little to no testing itself of our food chain with billions of pounds of food stuffs coming from offshore it is amazing there are not multiple deaths more frequently.
The Fat content is very easy to ascertain, I am more worried about preservatives, where food is grown and the purity of the water used along with chemical sprays. What about sodium, sugars, dyes and other content?
If any of you have ever had the Tijuana two step you know what I mean!

OMG... After eating at KFC the other day with a friend... which I will never, ever do again
As a general rule I avoid fast food any more... the sodium content alone is a disaster, but I do have a soft spot for a Togo's #25 whenever I'm back in California
The best fast food comes right out of my own kitchen
But to answer the OP's question... I would think once or twice a week would be fine, as long as you make healthy choices

About once every month or so I get a craving for grease, so I head to McDonalds. But never more than once a month! I do go to Subway often. I don't think a meat sub with lots of veggies on it is bad for you. Just try to stay away from their brownies and cookies!
