Posts: 671 I am going to look for a crazy big flat screen monitor on sale this Xmas time. Will be looking for what is the latest and greatest yet on sale :).

Would like to spend under $300 and get as much monitor as I can fot that. Needs to be easy on the eyes, so crappy won't do.

Wide screen is neat, and helpful for video editing. That's what I want to use it to do. Traditionally I use a 2 monitor setup, but at home I expect a big ass wide screen should do...

Any suggestions for where to shop? Please let me know if you come across anything good. TIA.

Posts: 3,681 Try newegg.com. I got a viewsonic 19" for 240 last year and it retailed in stores for 400 plus. It is a very nice monitor.
