Posts: 826 Linux is a great operating system, those of us who use it rarely ever use anything else. That being said, Linux can be difficult at times, especially to noobs. So where does one go to get help with linux. You can scan forums and still not find the information you require.

So, I decided to make this user group where we can all help one another. Everyone that uses linux learns something and can help others who do not know, how to use this great operating system.

I use SUSE 10.1 running on a AMD Opteron Dual Core 64-bit PC with 2GB ram and two 300GB SATA Drives, with a Sapphire Radeon X800 graphics system.

After a fresh install you realize a lot of it is disabled because of Novell compliance with copyright restrictions. However with a little tweaking you can end up with a vibrant and wonderful operating system once you eliminated the restrictions. One of best sources for fixes is packman. So that you get support for mp3s once more.
