How do you get Yieldmanger , tracking cookie off you pc?,,,,,,it shows up when i log in to yahoo....

Well, what browser are you using? IE6? IE7? Firefox 2? Firefox 3?
It's easy to delete cookies; it's more difficult, but usually not impossible, to block selected cookies.
BTW, I found those same cookies on my computer. I deleted them. I then signed off of Yahoo and then signed back on. Those cookies are still gone.

yieldmanager is spyware so just run a spyware removal software and it should clean it for you....

Yes, that of course will remove it. After I manually deleted the cookies, I ran Ad-Aware and Spybot (I have Windows Defender and TeaTimer running real time as well).
I just looked at my cookies, and those suckers are back. I'm now trying to preclude the cookies from being written.

those can be nasty little buggers Capo...
edited to add:
in IE you can go to (probably where it is coming in since you use both browers Capo)
Tools> Internet Options> Privacy tab>Sites> then type in http://www.yieldmanager.com > click block>click OK> click OK again
also you can change how you allow cookies from the Privacy Tab by clicking Advance.....

Actually, I was getting those cookies while using Firefox. The solution for Firefox is very similar: Tools > Options > Privacy > in the Cookies section, click Exceptions and enter the URL and click Block .
In this instance, I entered two URLs:
ad.yieldmanager.com
www.yieldmanager.com
I looked at the page source for Yahoo Mail and found the damn thing!

If you wish to clean your system of cookies, surfing history and other unwanted crap from the Internet you can use this little program.....ccleaner The best part about this program is it is...."FREE"! One warning as you install watch out for the "Yahoo Toolbar" they also wish to install if you do not want it...un-check the check mark. Read!
It is small and does not run on start-up. Use this after you are done or just to clean up the cache, cookies and java files from MD and every where else for that matter. A shortcut is placed on the desktop or you can put one in the quick launch. Either way just start the program and click on "run cleaner"!
The "advanced area" is not checked. Unless you know what you are doing stay out of that part of the cleaner.
In the options area of the program go to settings. There you have the option to set what file deletion you prefer. It goes up to NSA....7 wipes for secure file deletion. Or Gutmann which is 35 wipes and all traces are destroyed!
This way if you use multiple browsers, as I do, there is no having to go into each browser and just simply deleting. This type deleting can be found and looked at by people getting into your computer. This program stops anyone from finding out what you did or where you went. It completely over writes all information....cookies, also,... and cleans the tracks from your computer!
Just remember deleting from your browser still leaves information on your computer that can be found.
Go to the web-site and read. Be informed....yourself! There are some people giving information, though I am sure are well meaning, are wrong in what they are saying!

CCleaner is an excellent program and I recommended its use on another thread a couple of weeks ago. In my case, I don't want to remove all cookies; I only want to stop tracking cookies. I was able to successfully stop them, which I prefer to removing them after the fact with an anti-spyware program.
There are some people giving information, though I am sure are well meaning, are wrong in what they are saying!
What are you referring to with this statement?

 ok my friend above.................I have a question..........  I had something happen today and I need to know if I should be concerned..........  first time I ever saw this...................  about ad aware lavasoft.........when you do a scan ...................it said possible hi jacker
I have norton but.........I just randomly used the adaware today............norton is very good and it's all updated...........what does it mean should I be concerned I have never ever seen this

Thank you all for you help, I don't mind, harmless cookies, i know they are needed, but i'm with Capo, i don't like being tracked,, time to run a scan and see if my problem is gone, by the way Capo, i run Firefox 2. Have a great day everyone,,,,,,

I got the Yieldmanager cookies (there were actually about 6 of them if I recall correctly) off of my PC and have been successful at keeping them off by simply blocking access to the two URLs that I mentioned earlier. If anyone wants to do likewise, follow my earlier instructions if you are using Firefox; use Nah's instructions if you are using I.E.
