Posts: 571 I have a IBM T42 from work and have been trying to set it up at home for wireless but everytime I try to use it the system doesn't work. I've been told this is a problem with IBM and they have or need to create a patch.

I'm not that savy with computers and haven't been able to find if IBM has created this patch, has anybody else run across this issue and been able to fix it?

Posts: 3,446 If you haven't checked their website yet, I'd suggest that first, then possibly contacting their customer service .... probably be the fastest way to go about it.

If it does have wireless is it turned on?

Posts: 571 thanks for the couple of responses.. The IS guy here finally got an answer and it is the router, appears this version of laptop works on the netgear and not the one I had.
