"Shy", before you turn on your computer, unplug cords individually from the wall outlets in that area one at a time until you find the cuprit.

check your smoke detector, it is probably telling you it needs a new battery? If not some other battery operated device perhaps.

Lol well I just got a cell phone (first one) and I had a missed call . So that was the beeping noise. I thought it was my computer though because ive heard the same noise come from it before.

Good4you. I thought we'd have to send former Wendy's spokesperson Clara Peller over to go: "WHERE'S THE BEEP?"

I love it! Ain't it fun to be blonde?
(It took me almost a month to find the source of a telephone ringing somewhere in my house when I was sleeping...a REAL ring like an old fashioned phone. ~duh~ I'd forgotten someone had given me a cell phone for emergencies and it was plugged into the socket in the living room. ...it rings a doorbell, too. I still haven't figured out why -- or why it only happens when I'm asleep. )

Sun, some phones give out a signal to let you know they are fully charged. Not sure if that is what yours is doing but something to think about.

~grin~ No problem. I just buried it under a pile of pillows. It was easier than re-programming my head to the fact that I don't have a brrring-briiing phone or ding-dong doorbell.
(Maybe I'll even read the book someday ...ugh, I hate cell phones. It's only for an emergency and occasionally talking to my friend -- who really owns it -- for free. And I always forget to put it in the car anyway. )

That same beep, about once every 5 minutes, is similar to an older PC I had, where the battery warning for the CMOS on the Motherboard was about to go dead.
...I was checking all the computers, smoke detectors, radios, etc. ... it was as well, the dang low battery signal on a new cell phone. Another time, it was another cell phone bouncing around trying to get the best signal.
