Excuse me but it looks like this Webwise will be turned on by default before the user has any choice of rejecting it. No opting in or out arguments now as the service is just simply ‘ON’ by default.. That’s what Kent Ertugrul said last night. Seriously I think this whole matter has gotten out of hand and someone higher up must surely step in now and close down all Phorm Webwise activities all together immediately in lieu of the fact they have clearly stated their intentions to defy UK law despite all the legal warnings not to do so. If this was any kind of honest service then why would they feel the need to force it on us in blatant contempt of UK law?
