Does anyone know a program which enables users to save the autocomplete lists in Microsoft Word 2002? (I know that this information is included in the template, of course. but when the template is corrupted...well... ) I have over a hundred phrases in my autocomplete list and it is a hassle to retype every phrase whenever I need to recreate the Normal.doc template.

I was informed that the problem might be due to a faulty printer driver. I reinstalled the printer driver and updated the printer software.

No effect.

I uninstalled and reinstalled Microsoft Word 2002 using the installation disc.

No effect.

I deleted the Normal.doc template and reestablished all of my settings from scratch.

No effect.

Any other suggestions?

Posts: 2,652 Oops. I see that I forgot to specify the problem!

The problem is simply that Microsoft Word 2002 crashes whenever I try to insert a symbol. It does not matter which document I use or even if it is a blank document. Whenever I click on the "Insert" menu and choose "Symbol" the program crashes.
