I have had [free] AOL email for about 6 months now, and yesterday will be the second time that all my email in my in box disappeared when I logged into my account, and was never to be seen again. [I need a tumble weed emotion] Anyone else ever experienced this with a external web based email. I tried to contact tech support, only to find out they don''t exist.

Hey Mystery.
Yeah I'm thinking of changing email providers. What company are you using currently?

Set up a GMail account and forward your AOL stuff there .... it's free and reliable ....
Hell, I didn't know people still used AOL ....

Yeah i was thinking about checking out Gmail. I have also had yahoo for probably 5 years as a backup or second email, and they have never lost or made my inbox emails disappear. Although I don't want to use Yahoo as my main email because of the negative name recognition. Meaning that so many people just assume if you are corresponding with them from a Yahoo email addy that you must be a scammer, and I cant afford to use a email as my main email with that much name liability, since i buy and sell a lot on the internet.

As Laidback mentioned, opening a GMail account would be a great idea. It takes about 30 minutes to get used to it, but once you have done so you will be a convert!
It has Google's typical snappy performance. Besides, AOL is "circling the drain"and it appears that Yahoo might not be far behind them.
Best of luck!
