Ok, here goes....(most people know this story)
Over the summer I was offered a job as the director of a preschool being built in my town. (I've taught in the classroom for over 16 years). Well.....
The school is finally finished being built, we open in a few weeks.
Yesterday was the open house. I must have done over 30 tours of the school in a few hours. My head was swimming with facts on all different age groups and the different curriculums for each room and facts on the school, owners and their philosophy.
My brain is mush, but in a good way. I finally am using my college degree and the two owners have the utmost faith in me! It feels great! Many people are proud of me. As far as it being a success story, it is for me to get this far. I will keep you posted on how successful my new career actually is! 
Short term? Yesterday....I was a huge success!

I received a phone call asking me to run for state legislative director for the Union at the end of this month.
Story not completed...but the asking made me feel great!

Every day is a success for me.... Tomorrow will be my 5 month "birthday" for those of you that know my story. Quite an acheivement for this girl to be sure!!!!
Each day brings me happiness... I have a good job, terrific friends, a wonderful family and now a man in my life that I enjoy spending time with getting to know... exploring possibilities with.
I was mowing and weeding and planting seeds yesterday, when I walked through the kitchen from the front to the back of the house... I had a terra cotta pot in my hands and was going out to plant more seeds (garlic chives) when my brother asked "Are you happy?"
I just started glowing inside and said "Yes, bro, I am." It's the simple little things that make me happy now, just digging in the dirt and watching the seeds that I plant grow and bloom.
