Was to find the woman of my dreams on here.
Oh, sure, why else does anyone ever come to a dating site? But the little Katt I found turned out to be the one my heart has longed for ever since I first became aware of the wonderful differences between boys and girls. It wasn't immediate, and we weren't evern sure that we were looking for one another, but our friendship grew as we saw one another on the message boards. Even when the boards disappeared, we found our way to other places, and always stayed in touch.
At long last, we looked seriously at one another, and found that our heart's deepest longings were satisfied with one another. I fell for her like a skydiver with a faulty chute!   
I'm so glad we found each other, Ms. Kitty!

Sitting here remembering the first time we wrote to each other. I believe I need to thank my Grandson for that huh??
You were a silver tongued devil then and you still are.
I always had my eye on this handsome man. he could write storys and poetry to sooth the hardest hearts. Then I got an e-mail telling me how handsome my Grandson was and it must be a family trait. I thought, oh what a silver tongue he has. I thanked him for the compliment. I knew he was in a relationship with an other lady so I didn't think it would lead any where. I told him I would love to have him as a friend and if he ever needed to let off steam I would listen to him.
Then one day.....I got on the net and saw, lo and behold,,,,he had a different pic up. Hm,,,,ok, I grabbed the ball(some one had dropped it, and after some "flags" for scratching and hair pulling, and being sent to the showers, I finally got to the goal line and scored! Wow, what a game it was. I won the Superbowl, the World series and the Rose bowl too. He proposed to me in our "circle" of friends, and some of them were there the day we said, "I do". I told you darling, "Aint no mountain high enough, no valley low enough, to keep me from you." You took me across the mountains and through the valleys and now here I am, your wife and so proud to be with you.
So, yes, these dating sites can work!!!!!!!!

You have both always been so sweet, kind, and honest in the posts I've seen. I can see why you magnetized to one another.

Since I don't have a success story of my own yet, I don't come in here and peek as often as I should.
Are you two going to try and make it to the AZ gathering? I hope we get enough interested participants.
I would love to meet you both in person. Even if I don't meet a man here, a few good friends would be well worth it.

I just ASSumed. I went back and checked, and you had obviously not said, one way or the other. I'm going to try to go to the AZ gathering, as well as yours.
That is, if the other even comes to fruition. Looks as though it is still in the works.

I think the success stories are great and congrats and best wishes for a lifetime of happiness!
But, the very few sucess stories compared to the ...what is it they say..........a million MD members on here is few and far between.

Sun, just remember, you only have to get it right once!
Much as I'd love to see all of us matched up with our perfect mates, the odds are totally irrelevant. The next one might be you...flip a coin and turn up tails a million times, and the odds on the next toss will still be exactly the same...50-50!
But I'm still hoping we all grab a brass ring, and then make it work! Happy New Year to all!
 p.s. I meant to tell you I like the new picture....you look much warmer than in the other one, I think it's probably a lot more like you really are...
