In approximately two weeks one of our MD members might want to change her name from Snappygoddess, to MrsSnappygoddess. May I be the first to publicly say, "Best wishes", to the bride to be. I'm really happy for you. 
I will let Snappy give you all of the details about the where, the when, the how long, and whatever else she wishes to share.
Just to clarify...Snappy and her fiancee met at another forum, but I felt it was important to post this here, in order to show that forums can be a great aid in helping each of us get to know one another better, and because of them, couples have formed lasting bonds.
Thanks to MD, and the forums.
And now...I'll let Snappy take over from here.

Sometimes it seems so unreal that I even WANT to get married again. We have lived together for over a year and decided that we really do want to be married. From the first time we started chatting we felt an instant bond and connection. I have been online for almost 10 years and Ray forever(back in the Dos days) and we agreed, we have NEVER connected with anyone the way we have with each other.
Sure there were ups and downs.. we both had been in bad relationships and we had to clear out some excess baggage.. but we have weathered the storm and are ready to set the course and stay with completing our lives in marriage.
When you think of the millions of people who chat online.. we find it truly remarkable that we found each other and neither of us takes that or each other for granted. We hear more and more stories similar to ours and know that it is possible...and we both honestly believe that there is someone for everyone. 
We will be married July 1, 2006 out on our deck in a very simple and sweet ceremony with a wedding dinner reception later in the afternoon for some close friends/family.
Thank you for your support, caring and most of all for believing that it can happen on the internet

Thanks for the congrats!! We just went away for the weekend....very short honeymoon. Plan on going somewhere next week(he has the week off for vacation)

To tell you the truth... it doesn't feel much different then living together for the past year, except to say.. it feels more complete. We both are very happy and content with each other and life.
